So far this pizza maker is amazing for the price! No bells and whistles! Simple, just plug in, heat up, cook and unplug. That's it!I make my own pizza dough and sauce. I was looking for a pizza maker however they are many that are just too expensive for my occasional pizza crave ( more often than none) After reading the reviews, I decided to purchase the Betty Crocker Pizza Oven...Let me tell you, I whipped a quick dough and sauce and put it through the test. The 2 pizza's I made came out delicious, the crust was tastier than most pizza's places. The only issue is trying to transfer the dough onto the hot plate. I tried and failed and re-kneeded the dough again. Therefore, I just stretched the dough on the oven itself after it cooled down some. Pizza, requires a preheated oven, so I wasn't sure how it was gonna pan out.( I will be ordering a pizza board to transfer my pizza onto the pizza oven) Even though the oven wasn't as hot as it needed to be the crust came out magnificent! Cant believe such an expensive and simple appliance did such a great job! I don't worry about burning the cheese because I always add the cheese after the pizza has cooked or while it's just resting afterwards- it melts just fine without burning.I didn't have any shredded mozzarella but used slices of cheese when I tried the pizza oven. It also makes great bacon and over easy eggs. I'm sure sandwiches will come delicious as well.My thoughts, you won't be disappointed with this little oven. It does get hot when you open the lid though. Beware of the steam, it can burn you. Definitely use a mitten..Thank you Betty Crocker and Amazon for having such an affordable pizza oven. I will be purchasing a second one to hurry along pizza night.

Gotta be the best pizza maker ever made. Flat and compact enough that we store it on top of the fridge (we're crowded) and put the chip bags on top of it. Makes a perfect pizza , and doesn't heat up the kitchen and it's fast. Standard frozen pizzas fit perfectly. Like it so much we probably will still use it in the winter when we usually use the big oven. So glad I didn't order the rotating one-it's larger and probably gives off more heat. Who knows more about baking than Betty Crocker?

I have had this product for a year now and it has been perfect for me to use when I don't want to use my oven. (My kitchen is too small for a toaster oven.) There's no lengthy preheating involved and the cook time is considerably shorter than cooking in the oven, thus saving utilities. I simply plug it in, put in a 12" parchment baking liner (use and toss afterwards, no cleaning needed), wait two minutes or so for the green light, and put in the food. I need to observe the food to see when it's done, since the time is shorter than if using an oven. But once I learn the cook time for a food item, I can rely upon that time consistently. When I bought this I wasn't so much interested in cooking pizzas exclusively, but wanted to also cook frozen french fries, onion rings, cookies, cinnamon rolls, biscuits, Jamaican beef patties, and the like. I can say that all of those items I have cooked regularly over the past year and they have come out delicious (and the pizza actually tastes better than oven baked). In my experience pizza and cookies cook best when rotated occasionally (I just rotate clockwise the parchment liner using tongs), and fries and such need to be flipped over. As far as quality, this unit is in as good shape as new one year out. I'm happy to be able to pull this out, make a quick meal, and tuck it away again...no cleaning, no fuss.I find this to be a very useful kitchen appliance and pizza is just one potential food item of many that this is perfect for preparing quickly, deliciously, and conveniently.Edit: For anyone concerned about a potential power surge using this product (as it has no on/off switch), I suggest using a simple and inexpensive surge protector in your wall outlet.

It worked great only used it maybe 6-8 times I bought it March 15, and on May 2 it came apart. The top part came off of the lid so the elements are exposed.

Works great. Heats up in maybe four minutes. Cooks a Costco Kirkland frozen pizza in about 12 minutes. When you include the time to heat up the oven, it's probably 15-20 minutes quicker. And it doesn't heat the kitchen up, which is great in the summer time. Clean up is simple, just wipe it out. An excellent purchase

If you like pizza, and who doesn't?...you will love this pizza maker. It works great with frozen pizza, but also with homemade pizza. In that case, I cook the crust first, then add the toppings and cook the rest of the way, so the crust gets nice and crispy. This also cooks the pizza evenly, top and bottom. It's simple to wipe clean after cooling down, and I've had mine now for over 3 years with absolutely no problems. You'll love it!

Amazing product! I find I can use it for most things I used to bake in an oven. Saves on electric and a/c bills in the summer by not fighting with oven heat. Clean up is a snap. Cooks my pizzas better than the oven.

9/10This product By Betty Crocker was worth the price. The Pizza was delicious 10/10. The Pizza oven is a 9/10 only because it should have a on/off.
