The inductive charging never worked. Tried it on several phones, and it simply is an nonfunctional. Don't waste your money.

Bought this around a month ago and it's VERY hot here in South Florida. The adhesion has held up great, no slippage at all yet.I drive for Uber in a Tesla and need my phone at eye level at all times when on the job. I have the mount set so my phone is perpendicular to the upper right corner of my car's display. In my particular vehicle, I can see most of my phone's screen in portrait mode - the steering wheel covers the lower left hand corner of my phone just a bit, but not enough to really complain about.Charges fast and the magnet holds the phone firmly in place. I bought this product along with a highly rated MagSafe iPhone case, even though my version of iPhone technically doesn't need it.Only complaint is that the USB-C cord that comes with the product crapped out on me within a few weeks of purchase. I highly recommend purchasing a good quality braided L-shaped angle USB-C cord with the angled end plugged into the mount.Plan on spending an additional $30 or so for the phone case and USB-C cord to get the best results. And make sure you follow the directions and let the adhesive do its job for 24 hours before mounting your phone after installing the mount.

Works very good and blends with the car. I was looking for something with a small footprint to the eye. Strong hold my phone has never fell from it.

There are already nice spaces for two phones to sit and charge wirelessly, but it's not the easiest to see for the driver -- and just as important, for my iPhone's face recognition to see me (so I don't have to punch in the code to unlock). This simple mount solution allows me to use the phone hands-free, it's very visible while still keeping an eye on the road without blocking my view out the windshield, and it stays firmly attached.The product feels well made, solid, and should last well. When not in use, it folds out of sight. To charge, I feed a line behind the screen -- again, pretty much out of site (in fact, on the first use of the holder, a 2,000 round trip, I forgot the cord was there; though other than pretty long trips, I don't need to charge in the car).Only minor downside is having to put on the metal ring on my case -- I tried without it and at least with a fairly thin case, it won't hold reliably. Mine is a 13 max, but I tried another smaller recent iPhone (12, I think) and not sure it would stay without the added ring. Actually, an identical ring came with my MagSafe charger for the phone and I decided not to use it, but it does improve that connection as well. It's also nice that the item came with two of the metal rings.Anyway, for you Tesla drivers, highly recommended.
