Q: Do these sit flat or do they wobble?

All of the dishes in my set were perfectly flat. No wobbles.

Q: Ab rating is "good" on glaze and up to 4 finish defects per piece. these would generally be "seconds". how are yours?

It’s not formal dinnerware but it’s nothing you’d see sold by the piece at a dollar store. There is nothing on the inner area or visible outer area that would indicate “seconds.” I’m very proud to serve my guests on it. However, if whoever you’re serving has a tendency to flip plates over, they may or may not find something of concern.
