Wonderful stuff.
One of the few places to get this remarkable stuff in black. With excellent adhesion to all shoe and boot materials, this has fixed minor problems for years where soles start to part company, heels wear unevenly or holes appear where they shouldn't. I've also used it on walking stick ends, bags and cases, definately one to keep handy.Carefully clean all surfaces before applying, roughen with a blunt knife if a smooth surface too. For building up a sole or heel a number of thin layers applied over a couple of days is a much better fix than one thick application. Carefully clean the threads before replacing the cap if you want to get it off again. Finally ensure you have plenty of ventilation if you can't do the repair outside as the fumes are very strong and head fuggling 8)

Used to fix and extend life of soles on work shoes.
Great stuff. My pair of work shoes had worn through the sole at the heel to an extent that water would get into the air pockets in the sole and "squelch" as I walked. The rest of the shoes were in perfect condition so rather than have to replace an otherwise perfectly good pair of shoes I was able to fill these holes and rebuild a heel portion of the sole to extend the life. This takes a good 24 hours to set, but given longer gets even harder and more resilient. The fix has so far stood up well to being walked on nearly everyday.

Expensive but works
Great product to bring life back into tired soles. Flexible and waterproof. Remember to clean shoe and rough prior to applying. Always use product in good ventilation and avoid the inhalation of fumes as they are harmful.

wonderful product.
My shoes had worn down on the heels and I was considering buying a new pair. But I saw this online and decided to give it a go. I bought the black version, and built up the heels in a series of stages; it sticks amazingly well to the shoe and to itself. Saved myself money and I've got loads left over to build them up again when they wear down.

Works on other rubber products too.....
You cab, of course, fix shoes with this but I wanted it for another purpose. If you're looking at buying this for shoes then, in all honesty, there isn't much point in you reading much more of this review, but thanks for your time. This stuff is basically like a thick, liquid rubber. I have an old Alfa on which the rubber seals which run along the top of the waistline of the door, and into which the windows lower had started to crack at the back edges. The part is no longer available from the manufacturer, so I needed to attempt a repair, hence the purchase of this stuff. It was a bit fiddly, but I have to say its worked very well. I cleaned the area then applied it, and I though it was going to look a bit messy, but as it dries, it tends to level out into a smooth surface. Its covered and filled in the old, cracked rubber and left a neat finish. Its a bit shinier than the rest of the rubber on the seal, but nothing that some black trim polish can't sort out and its improved things a lot, and reduced significantly the chance of water ingress into the door.

Brilliant for protection on Altra walking boots
I purchased theses altra boots knowing they had weak spots on the crease as the boot flex’s, This “shoe goo” bonds with ease on the gortex fabric and does not look to much like a bogus attempt of fixing a hole. Excellent product. I highly recommend, ps I used electrical tape then removed before goo drying, this is how I shaped the squares.

Not massively impressed
I had high hopes for this stuff as it gers mentioned a lot on running forums for patching up holes in running shoes. Unfortunately it hasn't seemed to work very well for me. The first thing to mention is the smell - it gives off a lot of vapour (think superglue from the 1980s) so you definitely want to use it outside or in a very well ventilated space. Secondly, it is very, very viscous. I know the clue should really be in the name, but I was expecting to be able to paint it on with a brush. It's consistency is more like very thick treacle. In the end I used one of those white Spoons you get with a bottle of cough syrup and even this struggled to spread it - a metal spoon would have been better, but at least with the plastic spoon I could dispose of it afterwards. It didn't leave a very smooth surface, but I managed to make it reasonable by using a moist baby wipe to smooth it down. Finally, and probably most importantly, it hasn't held up to use particularly well. One 8km run and it has started to peel off the outer of the shoe, so I presume it will be something that needs repeating every now and then. It has patched the hole and I managed to make it look reasonably tidy, but it wasn't the miracle I'd hoped for.

Works well but over priced
This product works really well but way too expensive.
