It started as a gag Christmas gift for my wife as being retired we joke constantly about what day it is. (the struggle is real) Surprisingly it has become useful Day to Day and hang let us down. We have it right in our kitchen so when we get up for our morning coffee it's right there to start the day off a little smarter.We found it best to set it a noon as you can get a more accurate setting. The little knob is for approximate setting and the larger knob for the finer adjustment to the lines.Every person that works from home or retired should own one!

Since I retired, there are times when I'm not really sure what day it is. This solves that problem, and it makes a great gift for a colleague who is retiring. I bought one for my sister. It takes a colossally long time to advance the hand to the appropriate spot after installing a AA cell (not included). I would therefore recommend installing the cell when the day is close to where it happens to be pointing.

It was super useful to help me to made my kids have a good idea about what day is today, ho much days left for next weekend ... but to noisy, one day my daughter told me, daddy that clock does not leave me to sleep at night then I removed it from her bedroom.Tip: You can open it and paint days with colors and use stickers to motivate your kids to understand the days of the week. We have red for weekend and blue for school days.

I like this clock as it almost matches our time wall clock. They are exactly the same shape, however the "day" clock is a little lighter in colour but not by much so it's not a problem.We got the clock because neither my husband or I could remember what day it is even though we have a calendar !!! Would buy it again.Con: The clock is not made out of wood. It is plastic, although it does look like wood.
