It doesn't work well when making slime, I ended up buying Traditional Landry Starch instead and that worked.

Q: Is Borax substitute strong enough to kill ground ivy ? (borax itself has always been highly regarded as an efficient killer of ground ivy)

Sorry I can't say for sure that it will kill ground ivy, as I have not tested it on ground ivy. I guess the only way to find out is to purchase the product and try it. It isn't expensive and can be quite versatile.
