Q: Is this coffee some third-wave under-roasted hot lemonade bull crap? Got it as a gift and wondering if I should just throw it out.

Send it to me! No, I was very surprised by this coffee. I drink coffee black - good or bad. Bella is medium bodied, so roasted but not too heavy but far from light. Low acidity, so it doesn't leave the tang-on-the-tongue. That said Bella still has plenty of earth and flavor. Best example of a similar coffee is Starbucks Blonde roast when made as a french press, but Bella still has more flavor - IMO.

No, mine was roasted on November 21,2017... no odd smell .. but will not purchase again. It's too expensive and I felt not special enough.

Simply the best

Best coffee the only thing I would improve is to receive a bigger package of it. It is truly one of the best things about going to San Francisco and to have this in my home in Texas is fantastic!

Bad

This is a rip off! I knew if was going to be a tiny little package for $$$, but I really miss blue bottle after we moved from the west coast and just sucked it up and ordered. The coffee that I received (in May) was roasted in January!!! Really??? It wasn’t fresh and the taste isn’t the same you get on the west coast. Well of course - it wasn’t fresh!

Why is the coffee always gone!

Taste like a long weekend in the mountains - relaxing and conformable. Hints of fresh outdoors, faint taste of berries in a smooth mocha sauce.
