This can opener is great so easy to use this stainless steel opener looks great in my kitchen.

Best can opener I’ve ever owned.

I love it! I don't understand the poor reviews. It's strong. It holds on to the cans after cutting and it works on small to large and also irregular can sizes.

Have had this for awhile now and it has been one of the best can openers I have had. Accepts small and large cans relatively easy compared to other brands. Not havint to fight to get the can in position like many others. You will not be disappointed in this one. Does NOT have a knife sharpener but I didn't need that anyway.

I ordered this Cuisinart Can Opener along with their 4 Slice Toaster, the Toaster is Wonderful I only wish I could say the same for this Garbage Can Opener.First off if you plan on opening any type of Large Cans like Whole Tomatoes or canned Peaches you had better stand by and "Hold your Hand Underneath the Can, because if you don't you are going to end up with a huge Mess to clean up after the Cutter comes to the End of the Cut, and the can Falls down spilling all it's contents on your Counter Top, Another problem We have encountered is some Cans not being Cut because the Small Gripping Gear Wheel that turns the can does not make contact with the Lip of the can causing it to not Turn at all, or Cutting the can a few inches and the stopping, and some cans will work only if you tear the Paper Label off, now we are having trouble with even the Small cans of Tuna and Pet food not staying Locked in resulting in the cans dropping out of the Opener after it reaches the end of the Cut.

Electric can openers, in general, are a problem. Either their wheel-knives don't function adequately, or they are very fussy in alignment. This cuisinart has good alignment bars, and also a strong motor, such that it will not stall out on heavy-duty lids, as I have encountered on similar products. Recommended.

The media could not be loaded. Other Customers should know that this item is nice and heavy I am taking the can opener out the box as I write this review and it's nice and heavy and it's Stainless Steel that matches any kitchen decor! Yes I would recommend this to others plus it affordable and everything looks clean on the can opener and the handle does come off based on the video! This item so far looks great I haven't used it but so far it does look great and feels sturdy and heavy!
