In 2016, I went in to a river with two other officers to execute a water rescue. We were able to get the job done that day, and the young man is alive and well, but only by the grace of God. I remember being out in the middle of the river feeling very helpless, and looking back to shore to yell, "Rope"...but we didn't have any. Never again. This is a cheap and easy product that goes with me everywhere.

Bought this for a lake function we were having. Wanted to be sure that we had it on shore just in case. I didn't think we'd need it and we didn't, but it was nice to have around.I'm impressed with how easy it is to throw. The quality is quite good for the price. I cannot comment on the durability yet, but it seems well built. I would buy it again.

I purchased this and a canister to take on our beach vacation after seeing so much tragedy on the news that was happening this year in the ocean. Thankfully no one needed either of my safety items, but it gave me peace of mind.
