Q: Hi! Why is it there is only 1 battery is in the box?

The basic kit consists of everything you need for the drill to be functional. You get the drill body, a case, a charger and a single battery. To keep costs down they supply you with a single battery, and that is all that most users will require. 3 years ago I threw away a previous model 14V B&D cordless drill because a replacement battery cost more than the latest complete 18V drill set. I have had this drill for 2 years now and to avoid the battery issue again (and to get spare batteries in the process) I found a deal where they were selling the basic none Multi Evo set with 2 batteries as cheap as they were selling a spare battery (OK - a little bit more, but a negligible amount), so I bought the set. To answer your question (again) there is only one battery A) to keep cost down and B) because that is all most people need.

You should expect better quality for the money that you pay!

It's not really cheap but when yiu look at it B&D used very cheap quality materials. Battery is not really mounted and fit .speed is not adjustable and you can only change the torque. Overall its like multivitamin (everything but not enough:)Hope it will last for me.

Been using it for 4 years (bough locally), abused and yet never missed a beat

I have this drill with just one battery, and the following attachments:- Normal drill- Jigsaw- Sander- Multitool (vibrator)- Air pumpApart from the sander which fell apart (the foam connecting the sandpaper to the unit degraded after two years), I absolutely adore this system. Yes there are some limitations in the attachments, but they are strong and powerful, and the small battery lasts very long on one charge. I also have a circular saw which I use with the same battery. Highly recommended.

Not working

So disappointed! I request a replacement because the drill is not working. Yeah you send a replacement but still not working maybe you send a same item. Packaging is good but the item is not. 👎🏻
