AFWFilters 9100 SXT Twin Tank Metered On-Demand 80,000 Grains Per Tank Water Softener 24/7 Soft Water

I purchased the 9100SXT twin tank and it installed easily. Upon digital control valve set up I noticed something that prompted me to call the supplier whereby they confirmed the valve control was set up for a single tank system. Mark talked me thru reprogramming the controller over the phone and to date the system is working as designed. The customer support was great.

Perfect unit, I have had it for 5 years with no problems and it cleaned up our red rust issues.

It took a couple of hours to install the system using pek's fittings. I had problems with the initial equipment set that was sent. The two dip tubes were missing, the control valve was a mechanical verses electronic valve and it was short one box of resin. When the seller was notified they promptly sent missing/correct parts. I had about 0.2 ppm iron and 30 GPG hardness well water. Installed for about a month now and no rust stains or hard water. I also installed 2 big blue filters upstream with a 20 micron course filter and 5 micron activated carbon filter. Satisfied so far and feel like I saved a lot for a comparable system.

Bought this water softener system for a brand new house that we were building and it is great we love it so far!! It was easy to install my husband it it himself! We have had it for about a year and have had No problems!! We go through about five bags of salt every six months for a 3000 square-foot house!

I've had my softener for 2 years now. Since day 1 it has left a huge puddle and water everywhere whenever it back flushes. My water has also always had a salt flavor. I've sent multiple emails tried to call and been told a technician would contact me multiple times. I have never had anyone contact me. My basement is unfinished so the water leak hasn't been a problem but I want to finish it now so I need to figure this out. I finally broke down and had a professional come take a look ( I live way out in the middle of nowhere). The entire valve itself shoots water every where. Apparently it's been bad from day 1. I hope to not have to buy a replacement and actually get some assistance. But my hopes are not high.

I received the tanks and they are great quality. I didn't receive the bypass valve and called them regarding this problem and they sent me one straight away. I have had absolutely no problems with the system and its worked great. The water is so soft and clean its unreal. Admittedly I did install two filters and two activated carbon filters in series as well but these tanks really surpass my requirements and the whole system cost a quarter of the quotes I was getting from installers. I have a great system and have no regrets at all. Would buy from them again with no second thought but this will last me years and years.. Great product

This softener was delivered on time as promised. So far it is working well. Installation was straight forward, no directions to install. Setting the timer is a challenge, but customer service helped. Does not tell you how much salt you will need.
