Need More Information on Cocking device
Last year I was cocking my Barnett Brotherhood bow using the two handle rope device. Well, the rope broke and sent the bow hook flying past my face and through the ceiling of my garage. So, I now own the Barnett Crank cocking Device. MY worry!!!!! No where in the booklet that came with the instructions, etc does it give a poundage for the cocking string. The string is about the same diameter as dental floss. If a rope that is 100 times larger than the string breaks, wouldn't you worry about the strength of the string? I have used the device three times and already worried about the string fraying and breaking. It seems to me that Barnett should disclose the poundage of the string. I'm already thinking of removing their string and replacing it with 550 LB parachute cord. Any comments?

Not for me flimsy cheap
I recently purchased the white tail pro , with 185 lb pull .sighting in after 4 shots, then continued to practice with 6 more shots . All good no surprises love the bow ! Was a little tiring loading with pull strings. So I decided to order this cranking device. Well this came in a aftermarket box . W Barnett instructions. That were not so good so I referred to a Barnett utube install instructional video. Couldn’t see in detail on a I pad 12” screen . Barnett guy wearing black shirt ,black bow and black background. Ok figured it out .and device was.a complete waste .loaded twice with one jumping the anti fire .now what ? To unload cocked bow I put a bolt in it clamped bow to the shooting table , turned safe to fire crossed my fingers, and took a broom handle to engage trigger . Said enough !! Chris

Good crossbow bad customer service
I'd love to give this a 5 rating but there is one simple problem and it seems that my bow is not the only one that has this problem. The quiver does not attach and de attach like it is suppose to do, with out some serious wiggling back and forth putting it on and off. Once you get it on your better off just learn to leave it on.I have contacted Barnett 3 time and no one has made any kind of effort to get back to me.Now for the actual crossbow it is a tact driver. I have had it for just a little over a week now. I have shot close to 30 times and everything has been with in an 8 inch circle. Last time I shot it I nail drove the arrow I shot before 2 time in a row. I had bought some cheaper arrows/bolts to practice with so it wasn't to big of a cost.I did buy the crank cocker for it. It's pretty ok.Most of the directions is either hard to read or understand. I would watch a video made by someone on putting it together. Attaching the bow to the body is tricky right off the bat. It's best if you tilt the bow at an angle and then straighten it up in line with the rail.Only get 2 bolts with this, so it would probably be a good idea to buy more bolt when you order this. All in all you will like the bow for the cost but just hope you don't need Barnett for anything, because they go deaf as soon as it is sold.Guess the old saying " you can't complain about the service because there is none " fit Barnett prefect!!!
