Q: Does it work on echo dot 3rd gen?

I don't know about the echo dot but I got one for the echo studio. It works but cuts out intermittently. I also have one connected between a receiver/dvd player and my LG tv. That one drops out too. Given that the external speakers are very much better than the internal ones it is very frustrating. I have read that these cables are very fragile but if so, someone needs to re-think the design or the mode of connection.
