The design of this knife holder is excellent. I love the look, the shape, the ease of cleaning. It is a wonderful replacement.

When you insert a knife, you need to orient it with the spine outward, or the knife will tip. That's a pretty shabby explanation, but if you use it, you'll understand. We had small paring knives tip and fall out of it before we learned the secret. Also, pretty tall. If you planning to put it under an overhead cupboard (as we'd hope to do) measure carefully. An remember - you need overhead clearance to insert the knife. If I had it to do over again, I'd just buy a nice maple knife block

For the price, this knife holder works very well! I highly recommend it! So easy to clean and keeps everything organized!

It holds a variety of knives and sizes.I can’t fit more than about 4-5 large knives before the slots get too tight though. So doesn’t hold a lot but does a great job and is very sturdy!

Having sharp knives safely tucked away on the countertop is a life saving dream. It looks good and hold the most important knives I use on a daily basis. I don't have to worry about little hands grabbing ahold of a sharp utensil while I'm busy cooking.

I love the concept of this item. The only big flaw is that the slats that hold the knives upright are not tight enough together thus letting the knives fall to one side of or the other.
