Q: Does this product have a safety seal?

No, it never has had a seal, and I've purchased many jars.

Q: How do you remove this product ?

I use a clean washcloth that I get wet w/nice warm water. Use, wash, re-use....better for environment than something you use just once & toss. And this is a lovely product...works better than any makeup remover I've used. There's a reason something's still around after 100+ yrs.
