Q: Is it dual 4 ohm voice coil or a single 8 ohm?

I’m not sure about “dual” coil, but it is 4 ohm. Your amp must be able to drive a 4 ohm sub. I used a Monitor amp and the bass is really powerful from this sub!

Generally, yes if its amazon or OSD as the seller. Just make sure to check the return policy.

Q: Can this be powered through an integrated amp channel, or does it need to be a specific "Subwoofer amp"?

You can technically run it on a stereo amplifier. Consider using an OSD SMC21 stereo to mono converter if you're able. Then, you can connect it to both right and left channels and your output to the amp will be mono.
