I discovered this amazing product after Burt’s Bees was bought out and changed the formula for their honey chapstick. It’s quickly become my all-time favorite! I use it daily, and hang onto it all the way to the end of each (long lasting) tube. It has no artificial flavors or colors - just a straight up natural lip balm with excellent softening and protection qualities. There is no added scent, though a very light natural honey flavor and smell is preserved. It coats well, lasts a long time (I apply 2-3 times a day, in cold weather) and absorbs without feeling greasy or sticky. And it doesn’t contain any menthol or camphor (increasingly difficult to find, these days), which actually dry out your mucus membranes - so, even though you’ll love this and want to use it all the time, your lips won’t become “addicted”. I wish they sold it locally! But I’m happy to stock up via Amazon. :)

These seem to last longer than other brands I've tried. Nice texture. Lasts well. Very moisturizing. No funky ingredients.

Perfect Unscented Lip Balm for Sensitive Lips – Yuka Approved I’m really happy with the Portland Bee Balm Unscented Lip Balm! It’s Yuka-approved (see picture), which makes me feel confident about the ingredients. The unscented and no color formula is perfect for sensitive lips—I have very sensitive lips, and this balm doesn’t irritate at all. The texture is just right: thick enough to provide moisture, but not oily or greasy. It applies easily, feels comfortable on the lips, and leaves no heavy residue or scent. The ingredients are great, and it’s gentle enough for everyday use. The packaging is simple but nice—a small recycled paper box with a yellowish tone. The price is reasonable and affordable, making it a great value. I’m very satisfied with this lip balm and will continue buying it unless I find something even better.

Not sure why a few folks say the recipe has changed because it hasn't. I've been buying this particular product for 10+ yrs and it's still every bit as good as it ever was. They recently changed their packaging and I had a heck of a time getting into it before I realized all you have to do is twist the top.... LOL. This is hands-down the best balm at the most affordable price I've been able to find. I use it every day, never had any drying problems - in fact, it is my answer to drying problems and one I'm quite satisfied and happy with. Fantastic lip balm. Have tried many. Including some from the Jaw Docs. Love that it’s all natural, long lasting no weird taste or smell. Others seem to leave your lips drier and using more. Love the way it makes my lips feel.

Like the product but they changed the packaging it it isn’t as good

I have eczema and this doesn’t aggravate the sensitive skin around my mouth at all. It lasts a long time and just smells like the unscented beeswax, which I really enjoy!

I’m a ride or die Portland bee balm fan!!! I love that it’s only three ingredients. My lips are never, ever dry thanks to this stuff. I even used it on my toddler (2.5) when his lips were a little chapped from the cold weather. I’ve used so many chapsticks in the past where it doesn’t feel like they’re doing anything (looking at you Eos). I’ve gone through 10+ tubes and just bought another 9 pack. For me a pack of 9 lasts the whole year. Buy from them directly, they have 20-30% off sales pretty often! They also have a recycling program where they’ll send you 3 chapsticks if you send back 15 empty tubes.

Zero stars for this seller Five stars for the actual product-just get it somewhere else I don't recommend ordering from this seller because you won't get your order, I haven't. However, I do recommend this Portland Bee Balm. I have used it before and it is the most effective lip balm I have ever used for my chronically dry lips. I am disappointed that I need to reorder from somewhere else, especially because I have not received a refund.
