NOVICA .925 Sterling Silver Dangle Earrings 'Shining Songket'

These are lovely, well made sterling silver earrings. The traditional design is created with great skill. They are a perfect size. Novica jewelry is always very high quality, plus you are helping traditional artisans from other countrues.

I definitely prefer earrings to all other pieces of jewelry and I absolutely love wearing them, either tiny, small or on a more medium size. Because my ears are very sensitive, most of my earrings are silver ones, so I always give some thought when it comes to buying this piece of jewelry. (As I wear them all the time, I have to make sure I will feel comfortable throughout the day, every day.) When I decided to buy the Novica "Shining Songket" earrings, I took into consideration some very important facts (to me, at least): the design looked amazing and unique, the material used into its making is one of my favourites (sterling silver) and, on top of it all, the fact that NOVICA deals with fair trade (in this case, they are associated with National Geographic). As with all internet purchases, and despite all the care and ponderation one might have when buying something online, I tried my best to refrain my expectations so that I would not get too disappointed if they did not correspond to the pictures and to what I had hoped for. Well, NOVICA, congratulations!!! These look amazing: the craftsmanship is absolutely wonderful, exquisite even (many thanks to the artists Mr. Dewa Arimba and his wife!), the material used is indeed the one mentioned in the "Product description" (stamped sterling silver) and I absolutely love their complex and intricate design!!! Depending on one's style, I think they can be part of any outfit to every occasion, be it formal or informal. (They go perfectly with the more cool and relaxed outfits, of course, but I have already worn them to my very formal current workplace, and received quite a few positive reviews from my work colleagues.) As for the weight and length of the earrings, I do feel they are made of silver when I put them on, but they are not so heavy as to become a nuisance over the day. (Again, my ears become irritated very easily and that did not happen while wearing my "Shining Songket" earrings.) Also, the shipping process went without any problems (they were well packaged, with a lovely patterned jewelry pouch, with enclosed information about the origin of the piece and they arrived very fast). To sum up, I can safely say that NOVICA and its talented artists have gathered a new fan!

These earrings are beautiful and unlike any I’ve ever seen. They’re intricately designed and of very good quality. My only small complaint is that they are quite heavy.

So unique and very well crafted! Just the right size. A fun switch from the usual! Very classy and clever! The folds in the 'fabric' (beautiful Sterling Silver) seem to show texture and movement. Love them!

The display doesn't capture the beauty of these earrings I've purchased several different pair from this company. And never disappointed again these are so beautiful

I’ve bought this brand before, always pleased at it’s quality and craftsmanship. Very unusual, light weight. Looks like folded pieces of fabric in sterling silver, exquisitely made. If I encounter this brand again, I’ll certainly buy more of this jewelry.
