So a couple of years ago I managed to spill something I was drinking all over my keyboard. It never did work right after that and I eventually just had to replace it. My bad... I was clumsy. Still, I realized I had been irritated even before that just by how dingy the keyboard itself had started to look. I thought surely there had to be something out there that would protect the keyboard, but not interfere with my typing (I really dislike anything that makes keystrokes feel unnatural). Given how inexpensive these were, I figured they were worth a shot. Since then, I've gone through two sets (I have 2 keyboards, one for my personal and one for my work computer). No, these don't last forever... or rather, if you use them a lot, the numbers and keys fade away and it just starts looking dingy all on its own. Still, it can handle a lot of abuse before you need to replace it (I spend a lot of time at my computer). Plus, I know from experience they protect a keyboard well from spills (I did mention I'm clumsy, right?). They fit the keys perfectly and you won't even notice they're there when you type. If you do spill something, simply wipe it up or even take the cover off and clean it under water... no big deal. Your keyboard is fine. Personally, I won't have a keyboard without one again.

I LOVE the keyboard skins I've been purchasing for my MacBook Pro 13 Retina (2015) and Apple Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad. I'm a person who detests crumbs on my keyboard, yet I'm also a person who's always snacking at my keyboard! Hahah! The skins keep my keys nice and clean, with no crumbs sticking between them. I also like that I can rinse off the skins a few times before replacing them. Finally, I love the fun colors. I recently bought a multi-pack of skins for my MacBook, and I'm hoping to find a ten-pack for my Magic keyboard too. UPDATE: The skins I purchased for my Magic Keyboard fit perfectly. The 10-pack of skins I purchased for my MacBook Pro 13 Retina (2015) don't line up perfectly on the _-+= fn, control, alt, command keys. Not sure why the skins in the 10-pack don't line up properly, but it makes these keys look blurry. Visually, it's a little irritating. I haven't returned the 10-pack yet because I've only tried the first skin so far. I'm not sure if the others are duds too. I'll post more after checking them.

I buy these repeatedly every three or four years when the old ones are showing signs of wear. The protection they provide to Apple keyboards is legendary. Both my iMac and MacBook Pro/Air keyboards look like new--no grease marks from fingers on the keys, no crumbs, no sticky keys. The item is very lightweight, and you'd never now there was a cover on your keyboard. I can't say how much I appreciate this product

It’s cute but the space bar doesn’t sit flat which makes it really uncomfortable to use since you can feel it flopping around. I have tried to smooth it out and it always goes back to the state in the photo

Trash product. Lasted 45 days before it started to loose its shape and the black color on the space bar started to ware off. In addition, it left behind a sticky film on all of the keyboard keys when removed. Even before it started to have physical wear issues, this cover makes it so much harder to accurately type VS no cover. I would not recommend anyone waste money on this.

Good but not compatible with new gen iMac keyboard as enter key is changed in that.

My shopping experience buying this keyboard cover has been fantastic. I made the error of initially buying the wrong keyboard cover size which was quickly returned back to Amazon and refunded immediately. I absolutely love the keyboard cover. It fits snuggly over the keys and it is very comfortable surface. The different hues of blue is absolutely stunning and really elevates keyboard use to the next level. I would definitely recommend these keyboard covers to anyone looking for one in the future. Update: Although the keyboard cover does a great job protecting my keyboard, the colours on the cover are on top rather than underneath thus the paint rubbed away quickly after a short time. The colour should be either on the underside, or there should be a layer with the colour between two layers of rubber.

I have a Magic Keyboard with a numpad with my Imac Pro at work and this fits it perfectly. It is actually the best fitting cover slip I have owned as it stays in place and also looks very nice! I have used it for only 4 days though, but fingers crossed.
