Gorilla Double Sided Mounting Tape, Clear

I really like this gorilla tape and have ordered it a few times. It seems like I use it for everything. I mostly use it out on my back porch, which is my little oasis. I recently purchased a photography background and used it on my back porch because I thought it was pretty. I used this double-sided tape to hang it up on the siding. I know that it will work well to hold up during all sorts of weather and temperatures. I moved into my apartment about a year and a half ago and I actually used this tape to hang up string lights on my fence. I had a couple pieces start to fall down after a year and a half that I recently replaced, but most of it is still holding up very well a year and a half is a long time outside in temperatures over 100°, direct sunlight every day, wild wind, tornadoes, & ice storms, etc. I’m going to add some pictures of my porch lights that are hung up using only this tape. Again, I’m kind of shocked that it has lasted a year and a half already. It is made of a thicker tape that stretches. On the package it also states that it holds up better, if you place the tape horizontally. A little piece goes along way. You don’t need to use big strips of this. I just use a little tiny pieces to hang up my lights. I would say about 1” x 1”. When unrolling the tape the side that has the plastic peeling on it, is the side that is more sticky. That is the side that I attached to the brick or siding or wall or whatever I’m attaching the tape to. Also, after cutting the strip of tape that you want, sometimes it can be difficult to peel off the plastic. A little trick I use is to use my thumbnail to pinch off a teeny tiny bit of the corner and then I stretch the tape and it will release at the corner enough to peel off the plastic. I like that this tape is clear and see-through and visually, people cannot really tell that I hung my lights with clear tape. On the included pictures I have used this tape on my lights up top, my lights on the edge of my fence, to hang up a backdrop, and on my curtains to attach the side of my curtains to the brick. Excellent value.

This year we bought a few outdoor solar wall light to help light the outside of the house. Since we have aluminum siding, I didn't want to use screws to mount the light, so I bought this tape to install the lights on the house. So far, we have had heavy rain and cold weather and this tape has held up well. I also have a hook installed on the inside of a kitchen cabinet door to store acrylic lids of different sizes. The lids are heavy, so the mounting adhesive that came with the hooks wouldn't hold the weight. I used this tape on the hooks and it is holding well. The 1" width is perfect as it can be used for large or small items to be hung. For larger items, you can use a couple of strips. The strips are best installed vertically as this adds strength to the bond. You also need to be sure of placement since the bond is immediate and difficult to remove. I did find it a bit difficult to remove the backing strip on the tape, but used my thumb nail to lift a corner and was able to pull the backing off. I also like that this tape is a clear color as it does not show once installed. I, personally, didn't notice any odor from the adhesive, but this would quickly dissipate if you do notice an odor. Although this tape is great for indoor and outdoor use, the weather proof quality for outdoor use is where it shines. It holds on any surface that you don't want to use screws for installation whether smooth or rough. I would definitely recommend this tape for permanent mounting indoors or outdoors. I am still finding more uses for this wonderful mounting tape. I hope this review was helpful for you.

This worked as expected however please pay attention to the prices listed. You’ll notice they use different metrics (i.e. price by feet, meters, and unit) to confuse you so you can’t readily determine the best value. I find that INFURIATING.

Got this to make my daughter's LED lights be more secure on the ceiling and walls. Also used it to hold up an adhesive hook that fell off the wall that was holding a wooden welcome sign. Stuff works amazing. Just an FYI if u cut it in half it stretches pretty far so u don't have to use so much of it ☺️idk where this has been my whole life lol I wasted so much money being impatient with wall hooks and stuff..this is a must have on the side. And it's cheap!!!

Works REALLY good! I almost thought it was regular type, its tricky taking the top layer off for the sticky part. I bought another one, Works great

This\n Tape is so thorough.\n When I tell you, it works.\n I used it for my tiles on my bathroom floor which is ceramic.\n It works so well to wear my towel. Do not move they no longer slide.\n It's double-sided.\n Tape.\n Easy to rip-off. I couldn't believe the price it should have cost more.

I picked this Gorilla Invisible Hold tape up for some mounting projects around the house. When I initially opened it, the tape felt very thick, incredibly sticky, and had exactly the heavy-duty quality you expect from the Gorilla brand. Unfortunately, I lost the roll in a house fire before I was able to mount my items and genuinely test its long-term holding strength or how invisible it actually looks on glass or clear plastic. From my brief time handling it out of the package, the adhesive seems to be very solid, I just sadly didn't get the chance to put it to the ultimate test over time.

Wouldn’t hold up a wall mirror, however held up a tin sign for outside. So it can’t handle too heavy, but it’s not bad.
