The fan is not noisy but it is a fan so you will hear it blowing it is lightweight and sturdy I bought this fan in October 2021 and it hasn't been a whole year yet we are now in the end of June 2022 and it still works fine. It also is easy to clean you just remove the screws from the screen and get a scrub brush with soap and water or some type of multi-purpose cleaner and the dirt comes off easily the fan blades itself white clean easily I don't recommend trying to remove the fan blades from the mechanism just wipe the blades off and then that should be good enough and then replace the screens with the screws and you'll have clean fresh air instead of doing a lot of dust that is a great product and I'm happy that I invested in it and it saves money too. It sits easily in a window if you have an apartment like me and a small apartment at that and you're cooking definitely helps as exhaust as well

While it's somewhat smaller and lighter than their previous box fans, it works very well and has more power than Lasko's previous box fan models ... so much that the rear "feet" need silicone grippers, or the suction skates it backwards. It comes in a Home Depot box, so why not buy direct? Here's why: the third-party seller gets it to you super fast (instead of the usual 3 - 4 wks. a direct order would take for delivery). Secondly, Amazon offers insurance on their appliance sales, and this is so important even for box fans. About 8 yrs. ago, I bought nine (9) large multifunctional fans, which are easily twice as expensive as box fans. Six of them were gifts, and I kept the other three. Eight of these fans died in under two years, five of them dying in the very first year! The ninth one that lived was one of mine and it lived about 8 yrs. All of these purchases were uninsured, so I was both out of pocket and humiliated by malfunctioning gifts. A one out of nine survival rate is a very poor ratio and hardly recommends a purchase, but when they work, their fans are really great (and their box fans usually work well). So you see, insurance is a vital necessity now. You can't protect your purchases without it.

Just like what everyone said about it in earlier reviews! Works great - level #1 is quiet for sleeping and having fan on at night in bedroom. The higher levels are too noisy for me- but level #1 is Keeping me cool and comfortable for sleeping on these warm summer nights

Used in window to cool off apartment. It worked well it was a little noisy and difficult to clean, but it served the purpose of moving the air around the apartment if you’re in a pinch and you don’t have air-conditioning.

Other than 480V 3 phase 50 HP ones, right down the street on Lincoln St in West Chester is Lasko. I had my first 20 inch box fan for 19 years. I'd use it for summers and put it away. Then I used it all year long with a 20X20X2 inch filter on a timer from 4am to 8pm. I did a blow out the motor and reoil twice a year. Yes folks. I know HVAC. One day it (the motor) gave up the farm. No smoke. No fire. No smell. I'm waiting for Amazon to ship me the new version. Guaranteed gang. $31bucks. This moves the air without the expensive remote controlled crap. I’ve Had This Thing For Like 3 Years… still going strong. Valuable. Use it every night. Clean with warm wash cloth and swiffer duster once it’s turned off. Love it. It’s great.

This thing moves air and doesn't make any drama about it.

I just love this fan. I live in a senior apartment and my air conditioner was driving me crazy because it got too cold no matter what level I put it on. A neighbor lent me her fan, and I was shocked at how much it cooled my apartment down. Therefore, I bought this fan, and couldn't be happier. I turned my a/c off and am using this fan to cool me and my apartment. I highly recommend it!!!

This product is exactly as described. Couldn't be happier.

Headline says it all. Definitely costly. Seems to be cheaply made (including materials). But it can put out a very high volume of air (3 speed).
