It’s a very tasty Yerba mate

I was introduced to Yerba Matè more than 15 years ago and, for me it is a superior replacement to coffee and the huge amount of energy drinks out there. But first, I want to tell you that this was purchased from Amazon and it shipped from Buenos Aires. Whoever produces, sells and ships this product is doing a wonderful job and had been my preferred supplier of this excellent product for years. Many examples of subjective experience, including mine say that the thought clarifying and alertness effect of Yerba Maté is different from that of caffeine and energy drinks. So I’ll say my experience is based on my personal opinion and that of people I know who say it has a similar effect for them. I am also a person who was diagnosed with AD/HD & related Autistic Spectrum Disorders when I was 39 years old. I have for years used the more common related medication such as Ritalin and Adderal for nearly 30 years. Because of public opinion about the small percentage of bad actors who do not use these meds for medically diagnosed conditions, responsible users, in my experience have found it more more difficult to find physicians or Psychiatrists who will prescribe it. Now we have encountered an unexplainable “shortage” of Adderal which has impacted many of us in the AD/HD & Autistic Spectrum Disorders community. I have found Yerba Maté to be good at helping me to move to an organic product that is legal, has a positive history of millions of users, inexpensive and easily available. I don’t drink soft drinks because of added sugars and lack of control of the amount of caffeine they contain and I don’t drink energy drinks for the similar reasons. In my experience, Maté takes 15 to 30 minutes to experience it’s alertness enhancing effects and they tend to fade after about and hour and one half. I make a small thermos daily which has a small cup as the lid. This makes it easy for me to drink approximately 1/2 to a full shot glass ever hour or so during the day. For me it is a tremendous help with none of the legal hassles or expenses of prescription medication. I still drink a few cups of weak coffee or tea because I like the taste of coffee and tea but I don’t need to depend on the caffeine in soft drinks, coffee teas or energy drinks to clear up my thinking. I am not advocating this a medical advice and am a strong believer in compensation techniques to improve focus, and help to sustain your attention over time. No drug can teach you anything or fix cognitive issues, but some can help you to pay much better attention and learn new ways to manage cognitive issues. I love this beverage and am very pleased with the order process and the quality of this product. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Have been a Yerba Mate enjoyer for years but finding it is pretty hit and miss. Never consistent prices or quality or availability in most places here in the States or even down in Mexico. Love the price and quality on this stuff.

I have been ordered Cruz de Malta mate for a very long time. It’s the brand my parents would buy and I have just continued doing the same. It tastes great so why change it.

This is not high quality tea yet a good value for me because I drink it everyday. There is no glyphosate or pesticides so it's a thumbs up for this tea. I keep it in air tight jars. The 4 stars are because it is a bit dusty and has some small sticks, but it still does the trick!

This yerba mate is fine. I don't use a gourd but rather my regular tea brewing pot and a strainer. I'm pleased although I have tasted better product. There are many ways to prepare mate. It's a brewed beverage made to the individual's palette.

Received the product very quickly and the quality is excellent

Besides the health benefits of Yerba Mate, I find the loose leaf tea very flavourful using about 1 Tablespoon of the leaves to a mug with water slightly cooled at about 160 degrees. Stay away from all tea "BAGS" as it has been scientifically proven to contain microplastics which, if you've been keeping up on the news, get rid as much plastic as you can. Just replaced my black plastic spatulas with wooden.
