I bought this pet lint roller to help with dog hair around the house, and it has worked really well for me. I think of it as part of my pet-hair cleanup toolbox. It does not replace the vacuum for everything, but it is much handier than getting the vacuum out for smaller jobs. What I like: • Works well for pet hair • Easy to use • Reusable • No sticky tape refills needed • Good value over time • Great for quick cleanups • Handier than pulling out the vacuum for little jobs • Works well on multiple surfaces • I have used it on rugs, curtains, bedspreads, the couch, and fabric-covered chairs • Helpful for furniture, bedding, cushions, blankets, and other fabric surfaces • Picks up hair that may not be obvious at first • Easy to empty • Easy to clean • Nice to keep nearby for everyday pet-hair maintenance • Good tool to have if you have pets Things to be aware of: • It works best with short back-and-forth strokes • This is better on stationary fabric surfaces than trying to use it on clothing while wearing it • You need to empty the hair compartment regularly • Do not let the collected hair build up too much inside • I would wipe the brush surface with a damp cloth when needed • I would not submerge it in water • For stubborn buildup, clean gently and let it dry completely before using again • Like any pet-hair tool, it works best when used regularly Overall: This has been a great pet hair remover for me. I have used it on rugs, curtains, bedspreads, the couch, and fabric-covered chairs, and it has worked well on all of those surfaces. It is especially useful when I notice pet hair in one area but do not want to drag out the vacuum for a small cleanup. I really like that it is reusable and does not require sticky tape refills. You just roll it back and forth, empty the compartment, and keep using it. For me, that makes it much more convenient than a traditional lint roller for furniture and bedding. This is one of those simple tools that is nice to have nearby if you have pets. It is easy to use, easy to empty, and effective for quick pet-hair cleanup around the house. I am very happy with it and would definitely buy it again.

I've seen reviews of this online and everyone says it's great, so I finally got one. (Apparently I had it on my wish list so I actually have 2 now!) My cats are pretty much the same colors as my furniture, so there's no obvious hair, but I do use the ChomChom before anyone visits. I can rub my hand over the cushions and not see or feel any fur so it's really surprising to use the ChomChom and have it fill up with hair. It works well and is very easy to open up and clean. The rubbing surface is not sticky - it has a fabric with tiny bristles which pick up the fur. It works on every type of fabric I've tried including clothing, the sofa and even stuffed animal toys.

I bought this cat themed pet hair roller for my daughter as she has a Maine coon cat who sheds a lot and does not like to be groomed. My daughter absolutely love this. It works very well keeping the cat hair off of her furniture and rugs. She actually vacuumed her whole rug with this on her hands and knees, and was amazed that all the hair that came off the rugs and furniture, even after vacuuming them traditionally with a regular vacuum this definitely picks up hair off of furniture, rugs Clothes it’s reusable you can take the hair out out of the storage chamber after using it

This is a godsend. Easy to use and grabs the hair quickly and easily. I have 4 dogs and use this on a daily. I wish there was a version that has a long handle so it can be used on the carpet while standing.

This thing is AWESOME. It is SUUUUPER effective. I have two cats that spend a LOT of time on my bed, so blankets get very hairy and I don't want to throw them in the wash when covered in hair, but obviously they need to be washed. Vacuuming the blankets wasn't really working for me. I tried those sticky tape hair remover rollers but it was so wasteful. I tried the type that is like a metal rake, but that pulled on the fluff of my blankets. This roller though is simultaneously effective and gentle. It is also really satisfying. I sat on my bed over an hour just using it on a BUNCH of stuff, then I went downstairs and showed it off to my family; it felt like I was in a commercial lol. I wouldn't say it is "sticky," but that doesn't mean it doesn't work--it absolutely does. You know how you can collect hair with your fingers by sort of rubbing or brushing the hair in one direction, and then you get basically a strip of collected hair? It works like that. But, it has a textured felt that is able to pick that hair up, and a silicone strip that helps to collect it. Then you can use that lever to turn the "active" felt down into the collection chamber. It's actually really satisfying lol. Then, if you have any collected fuzz that seems stuck at the top of the fabric near the silicone part, all you have to do is rub it downward toward the middle of the felt and twist like usual, and just like that it is clean. And it's worth noting that the fabric strip is actually pretty soft. It doesn't leave any sticky or rough feeling behind. Also, I have a lot of sensory issues with certain materials, and comparable products to this one are usually a sensory ick for me. Often there is even an unpleasant sound made by other products. I don't have ANY of those issues with this, which is amazing. It works well on a variety of materials, making it quite versatile. In the video here I am using it on bamboo sheets and it works great, even one-handed. I've used it on fuzzy blankets as I mentioned. I've also used it on my clothing, my weighted blanket, a multitude of pillows of different materials and textures throughout our house, and more. It is fun to check the chamber every now and then to see how much has been collected. When I do that, it doesn't all fall out on me. It collects a lot, but you also don't need to be dumping it constantly; it really holds a lot in the chamber. You can probably tell by the video that one strip of fabric is darker than the other. I love that this product has two strips built in so that, if one becomes ineffective, there is still plenty of use and life left in the product. That being said, this fabric strip CAN be cleaned to be more effective if needed. But honestly I haven't needed to yet. Even though it is dirtier, darker, and perhaps a bit "clogged" maybe with dust and dirt, it is still VERY effective. It is very durable in that way, something that most products of this function fall short on.

Wow. This thing works miracles! I have white sheets/duvet cover and a dog with dark hair. Dog hairs have met their match. What used to take 10 min to clean using a sticky lint roller now takes 1 min. I love this thing. Worth every penny if you have pets who shed.

This is AMAZING for any dog owner! I was hesitant to buy this because some videos do not show the type of hair my 4 dogs have. First I have a Shepherd, pit bull, boxer , and jack russel . This product I used so far on my couches and my bed and wow! All the hair is gone. I sware by this and as a dog groomer I always have dog hair on me also and next I will be getting the smaller size to carry with me . Videos do not do this product justice. Just buy it and I promise you will NOT regret it!

This Chom Chom lint and hair roller does work as advertised IF it is used correctly. We mainly use this Chom Chom to clean up the hair left on the faux leather furniture by our constantly shedding Sable German Shepherd. It does indeed work really well for that purpose. This Chom Chom also picks up little pieces of lint off of the furniture very well. However, this Chom Chom is NOT going to vacuum the entire house by itself, so don't expect miracles from it. This Chom Chom is designed to be used in short back and forth strokes, and not long rolling motions, as the hair collector bar does not turn 360 degrees (it flips back and forth). The hair collector pads are designed to collect hair and lint by building up static electricity through friction, and then the squeegee deposits the hair and lint into the easy to empty storage compartment. If the Chom Chom is used in one long continuous direction/motion it will not work correctly, and I am quite sure that is where the very few negative reviews are coming from. Also, as specifically stated in the included instructions, this Chom Chom is NOT designed to be used directly on humans or pets. It is not a sticky clothing lint roller or a dog/cat brush. The instructions also state that this Chom Chom will not work on hard or smooth services. It needs some friction from rough furniture material in order to build up static electricity on the cleaning pads. As I previously stated, this Chom Chom does work very well IF it used as directed. Just don't use it for unintended purposes, and then leave a bad review because the instructions were ignored or not read at all. While I would have given this Chom Chom 5 stars just because it works so well for its intended purpose, it does have a couple of shortcomings. First off, if a finger is not placed over the door latch of the hair storage compartment while using the Chom Chom, the door constantly flips open and the collected hair goes everywhere (I learned this surprise the hard way). Maybe I received a Chom Chom with weak door latch? Also, this Chom Chom is made of cheap/thin plastic, so it will flex if too much pressure is placed on it during use. Also, the thin plastic construction does bring the long term durability of the Chom Chom into question. In conclusion, I do highly recommend this Chom Chom, as it does work very well for cleaning pet hair as advertised, IF it is used correctly. However, with the weak storage compartment door latch, and the cheap plastic construction, I can only rate the Chom Chom 4 stars. Personally, I only paid $18 for the Chom Chom on Amazon Prime Day, so cost was really not an issue just to try it out. However, it did take over a week to receive the Chom Chom, with 2 day delivery actually being shown in the product listing, so just be prepared in advance that the delivery of the Chom Chom may be delayed due to its immense popularity. However, that is not the fault of Amazon or the Chom Chom itself. UPDATE: This Chom Chom works so well at cleaning up dog hair that we now own 3 of them that we keep and use around the house. The strange part is that even though the name "Chom Chom" is technically a proper noun, we now use it as a verb in our house, as in "I just Chom-Chomed the couch." Good stuff! UPDATE #2: I recently purchased the Black & Decker version of this Chom Chom hair & Lint Removal Tool (I left a comprehensive review for the B&D product as well) for comparison with this Chom Chom. While both this Chom Chom and the B&D versions of this tool work in exactly the same manner, and equally well, the B&D version is a higher quality product, IMHO. The B&D tool has a thicker rubberized purple handle, a translucent purple lint storage compartment lid, and it operates much more quietly, without the occasional loud squealing noise that this Chom Chom makes. The lint compartment door on the B&D tool also stays securely closed until it is actually opened by the user. The best part is that the B&D hair and lint removal tool is about half the regular price as this Chom Chom version (go figure). I gave the B&D tool 5 stars compared to 4 stars for this Chom Chom. I invite people to try both products and see what they think for themselves. I am sure that they will agree with my opinions on both of these very good hair and lint removal tools.

It's helpful, works great on carpets and easy to clean, but here is says that it can be used on clothes, and it's written on the pack that it can only be used on carpets and do not use it on thin carpets or cloths. So it's misleading. If you need it for carpets it's perfect, other than that you won't use it much.

Who ever invented this should get a noble peace proze from the pet comminity. It basically removes pet hair very fast.

This is expensive but it so worth buying. This is really just for upholstery- it wouldnt work on clothes. It's strange to operate at the start but this has been an amazing buy

This thing EATS cat hair. It's the only thing that works, time and time again. I hate using single use rollers, and sticky washable ones are annoying to clean. This one works well, it's simple, it's fast, it's effective. My only complaint is that it can be tricky to use on small/cramped areas due to the size of the roller. But that negative is completely overriden by the fact that I bought this 4 years ago and it is STILL the item I reach for to get ride of cat hair
