Secur 1 X Solar/Dynamo LED Flashlight

Saw this on Amazon with one customer review and decided this would make an excellent Christmas present for my son who scuba dives. It is sold by Smart Shop and it was delivered very promptly by Amazon. The other positive is that it is as light as a feather as well as all the positive attributes discussed above in other reviews. I am delighted with this and I hope my son will be.

The Secur Waterproof Hand crank or built in Solar powered 3 LED Flashlight is nearly identical to the Secur Waterproof Hand crank 3 LED Flashlight with the single addition of a solar panel. Like its hand-crank only brother, the Secur Waterproof Hand crank or built in Solar powered 3 LED Flashlight is said to be waterproof to a depth of 45 feet. I've spent the day with a big bowl full of flashlights and a shower full of rain & shower proof gizmos strutting their stuff. Like its brother, this flashlight floats so you'll have plenty of time to rescue it if it should fall overboard. It does indeed work every bit as well underwater as it does on dry land, but you'll need scuba gear to take it down to 45 feet. Operation is simple. The flashlight contains 3 LEDs. A large button on the face of the flashlight controls the amount of light the LEDs deliver - one click lights the center LED, two clicks light all three LEDs and three clicks sets the LEDs to flashing. With a full charge on board you'll get 8 hours of light using one LED or 4 hours of light using all three. The unit has an expected lifespan of 5 years or 50,000 LED hours. There is a loop at the end of the light through which it could be attached to a vest or backpack. ▶︎ The Secur Waterproof Hand crank 3 LED Flashlight charges by way of a hand crank located on the back of the unit or by way of the solar panel on the front. To charge the battery lift the handle and turn it clockwise at a rate of about 3 revolutions per second for 1 to 3 minutes. A full solar charge requires exposure to 8 hours of sunlight. It does everything I was looking for, built sturdy enough and waterproof. The price was even better than Walmart including the free shipping, how could I have gone wrong and it was home within days regular post. Good for everyone and for emergency, camping, fishing, the house, the truck etc.

Ottimo led anche ad 1 sola lampada, rapida ricarica con dinamo. Robusta, diverse cadute non si è scalfita. Caduta in acqua ha ben resistito.

Ich habe bereits 5 dieser Lampen, wobei 2 ohne Solarmodul und eine statt Secur eine POWER plus ist. Ich habe mir diese Lampen zugelegt, weil ich wasserdichte Lampen benötige, die schwimmfähig sind und die Umwelt nicht unnötig mit verbrauchten Batterien belastet. Alles dies bietet die Lampe. SIe ist wirklich wasserdicht und aus einem stabilen Kunststoff gefertigt. Sie ist schwimmfähig, wobei die Bebilderung gestellte Aufnahmen zeigt, die mit der Realität nichts zu tun haben. Die Lampen liegen flach auf dem Wasser und das hintere Ende ist ein klein wenig abgesunken. Die in der Produktbeschreibung angegebenen Leutzeiten kann ich bestätigen. Jedoch als Hochleistungslampe würde ich das Produkt nicht beschreiben. Die Helligkeit ist mäßig, aber für Spaziergänge ausreichend um den Weg auszuleuchten. Die Ladefunktion über die Handkurbel ist zwar nicht perfekt, aber sie funktioniert recht gut ohne übermäßig viel Kraft zu kosten. Eine längere Kurbel wäre sicherlich besser gewesen, war aber bei dieser Lampengröße vermutlich baulich nicht machbar. Dieser Typ ist übrigens der Variante ohne Solarmodul vorzuziehen. Die Lampen ohne Solar haben über den LEDs ein gewölbtes Reflektorglas und leuchten etwas schwächer als diese um 3€ teurere Variante mit glattem Glas. Negativ fallen lediglich die mittelmäßige Helligkeit (keine Fokusierung), sowie die fehlende Handschlaufe auf. Preis und Leistung sind auf jeden Fall stimmig. Zum Schluß noch ein Tipp. Akkulampen nie entladen lagern. Bevor man das gute Stück in die Schublade legt wenigstens eine Minute kurbeln, das hält den Akku fitt.
