A lot of people may have placed their batteries in the docking tray for nothing to turn on/ charge. The same happen to me but after wiggling them down and pushing until I heard an - audible click - they lit up and started charging. Ultimately, a little finicky to get it going but once they’re charging, they’re charging. Make sure the green light is just above the top of the docking tray, any higher and it’s not seated right.

I had a hard time finding a single battery charger for my ring battery. I have absolutely NO idea where I put the original. This has worked fine, although, we have had a few issues with it. First, I put it on the charger at one point overnight and by morning when I put it back into the Ring, it hadn't charged at all. Important to note, the lights were on that indicated it was charging! So, put it back on and it charged fine while I was at work that day, but annoying that I had to go without a doorbell for a while. Second, I'm not sure where the issue is for this problem, but ever since I started using this charger versus the (now lost) original charger, the battery only lasts a month or so. Before, it was lasting closer to three months. Not sure if it's a charger issue or battery issue but we have not even had the Ring for a full year. On the positive, it is nice that there are lights that indicate if its properly plugged in and working. And being able to charge two batteries at once is a benefit as well, although not necessary for us. However, I probably will buy another battery so we never have to go without a doorbell while we wait for it to charge. But overall, this battery charger works fine, especially for the price point. MY recommendation is don't lose the original one like I did but if you do, this works.

Confirming that this DECHIANY Dual Port Charging Station charges Ring batteries for Doorbell 2. I had hardwired doorbell 2 installed about 5 years ago and never had any issues. I didn't even know that the battery is supposed to get recharged on occasion. Lately, the door bell videos kept on disconnecting from the Wi-Fi, and the video was in black & white. Initially, I thought that it was happening because of the severe cold temperature in the northeast this winter, but then when looking at the doorbell Health on the app, it clearly showed that the battery was in the red, down to 3% and then to 2%. This is when I started reading about the need to recharge the battery for a hardwired Ring door bell. It turns out that the new charges are not compatible with such an old doorbell as v2. After reading comments I decided to try this one - and it worked perfectly although it took 12 hours to fully charge a battery. I added the battery to recharge at 7 am and by 7 pm the light turned green. I am very happy with this purchase.

Cheap junk. I rarely use this since I have the Ring solar panel. I've charged at most 3 times in the winter and the charging port has already broken internally. Upon further inspection, the female charging port was soldered to the PCB with good vibes.

Good product

I love this charger. I've had it for quite a while and it is still working well. I have several ring products and it's much easier to charge with this charger.
