Good quality
Ive had cats for fifty years and had no problems trimming nails but the cat i have now is a different story.ive never experienced a cat as strong and powerful as this guy. He has ripped through numerous cat bags supposedly made for grooming and done some major damage to me in the process. This bag is tougher than his nails and he can kick like a kangaroo and it holds up. Its a little difficult to maneuver his paws out of the small openings but its doable.im thankful i bought this because trimming this guys nails is a fight everytime. A MUZZLE IS ALSO A MUST.. for the negative reviewers- a simple muzzle mask will calm your cat as it covers his eyes and prevents biting so you can easily put them in the bag. this is worth the price .a large is roomy even for my big boy

Perfect for applying claw covers
How we wish we had ordered this years ago! We have a sweet cat we keep in soft paw covers. She hates getting them on. It always took two of us, or ideally 3, to hold her and get them on. Then, she would squirm away so quickly that they wouldn't always stay on. In this bag, she is contained and feels safe. It's a bit of a struggle to get her into it but them we can take all the time we need to put her claw covers on. I haven't used it as a carrier but it is by far exceeding my expectations!

Well made (except for one issue), but didn't work for me
This is a well-made bag and a very good idea. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. Although my cat was fine in it if he was just sitting on the floor, he still totally freaked out once I got him in the car. He got so upset, that he actually peed in the bag. Word of warning: This thing is NOT waterproof! Pee will come right through the zipper area. On the one hand, this is good, since otherwise your cat would be sitting in a puddle. Of course the bad side is that you get pee all over your car seat. If you think that could be a possibility for your cat, be sure to keep a thick towel underneath. Luckily, I have no trouble getting him into a standard carrier. So I'll go back to that for car trips and keep this for medicating and claw trimming.

Not Great for Grooming
It’s a great idea but didn’t work the way I thought it would. Getting the cat in it and restrained was an adventure. I mean if you’re cat just walks into it and lets you zip it up around its whole body and tighten the Velcro its neck, maybe it’ll work for you. I could access the front paws fine because there were 2 individual zippers to access each paw but there weren’t individual zippers for the 2 back paws, just one main zipper. That doesn’t work well because when you start unzipping it, the cat tries to start backing out of it. I wish I wouldn’t have bought it. I needed it more for grooming than transporting.

Easy, Simple & Stress Free for the Cat!
I live this Cat In A Bag! It's easy to use and no stress fir the cat! The directions say to hold your cat under the chest, and skip the head in first, then zip! I use the seat belt handle and put him in the front seat. I bought the extra large as I have a Main Coon. This is such a great idea, every cat owner should get one!

Great bag!
I’m changing my review from 1 star to 5.I bought the size large caramel bag to take my cat to the vet. At first the zipper got stuck, I saw a little thread, I cut it, and now the zipper is working fine. My cat was much better riding in the car in the bag, since his head is out and he can see all around him. He still cried, but I can pet him and reassure him. The only thing I would change is the shoulder strap, it’s too short. Otherwise I love the bag!

Small for 8- & 10- pound cats
The big plastic box carriers are cumbersome, heavy and the cats hate to get in them to go to the V-E-T. I bought a small one for my two cats who are 8 and 10 pounds. It is so much easier to carry them and they feel safe. My sister turned me on to this sack, raving about it for her two big boy cats. A slight drawback is I wish the shoulder strap were a little longer, though not a dealbreaker. The cats can see what's going on and they can be in the front passenger seat near me. The bag is sturdy and zippers work well. I'll update you when I use it for my skittish girl.

The only thing that worked, and scratch resistant!
This was the only restraint bag I could find that worked for my cat for taking meds I couldn’t mix with food/trick him into taking since he had to take on an empty stomach. Previously I was wrestling and holding him down to quickly to push the syringe meds into his mouth and I still have scars from that. Using this has been very much less frustrating for both him and me and he was less stressedThe fabric and weaving is made in a way that it’s scratch resistant! He scratches when we’ve given meds and only once inside the bag when we didn’t clip his nails recently did he push two claws out through the fabric, although that was brief and he retracted themWhat I did was put the Velcro collar around his neck first approaching him from the back as if I were to put a cape on him. Found it easiest to do this way to capture as much of his body at once and then his legsI no longer use this though because despite the med normally w instructions to be taken on an empty stomach my vet okay’d me giving the med with churu and my cat tolerates thatI am keeping this though in case for the future!
