Product works great. Installation took a few minutes to figure out but once I figured it out, installation took less than five minutes per tie down. Great product, and well hid when not in use.

This is a really highly engineered and solid all metal product. It does what it should without inconvenience or rattling. My way of installing in a Silverado is a breeze—back the screw way out but don’t remove it, extend the ring all the way, holding the ring slip the upper edge of the backing plate behind the bed wall, LIFT vertically the bottom edge of the plate can clear the wall and slip in, center it up, screw or down. It might take 5 minutes on the first one or two to work out the fiddliness (and to learn to be Gentle so the ring doesn’t snap closed), but after that it is about a 2 minute job. The one in the video has been subject to about 17 loads of compost, wood chips, and dirt. As you can see it wasn’t bothered by the grit and still works like a charm.

I bought these because of the fact they are retractable with smooth edges and should be less likely to tear bags of mulch and dirt I frequently haul my truck. I think they look pretty good and were relatively easy to install. I installed these in less than 20 min with just a philips screwdriver. I have my doubts on how sturdy they are and how long they will last. The rings are some what loose, their upward angle means they will be under additional stess when straps are tightened and the backing plate is rather small. It also appears the hooks are uncoated steel so, the road salt may wreak havoc on them. If I had it to do over, I would buy these for the front of the bed and fixed rings for the sides. How, I will give them a shot and likely not put too much of a load on them. I supect they will prove to be up to the task.

2024 silverado 2500hd with line-x spray in bed liner. Super easy install, 20 minute total install time (even though I installed one upside down initially and had to take it out and reinstall). Lock the anchor into the open position, remove the screw completely, slide the main body into the pocket, then slide the backing plate into the pocket, holding the anchor in the open position slide plastic face against the sheet metal and reinstall the screw. Prior to tightening the screw completely, test the anchor for functionality. If it is operating correctly, tighten the screw and you are done! That's it! They seem to function smooth. They do NOT sit as flush as the "BULL RING" anchors, but the bull rings have more plastic components that breaks down over time. I have not put these under load yet, but they feel like good quality. These anchor points will be used as secondary security for my load, I don't trust the sheet metal to hold any excessive amount of load. 5 stars! Very satisfied at this point!

I purchased these because it looked like I did not want to cut holes in my pickup, its my first brand new truck. I was hopeful they would be legit for the price and they met and exceeded my expectations. Just pop the cap out from the factory and they install quite easily if you are handy. Which I suspect you are if you are buying these. One thing you will need to pay attention to, and not get frustrated is when you install them, make sure they are seated in the hole and the components line up right. If not the tie down bar will not retract right. But when you are installing it you will be able to feel it pop into place the right way. The tie down bars are spring loaded so when installed correctly you just have to push it a little bit and they slide back into the bed. Another handy feature with that, and the reason I bought them in the first place is because I was tired of the tie downs coming off of the factory hook when I went to tighten up, but if you put the hook in, then you can push it back and it will hold the hook in place for you while you go to the other side of the pickup to tighten down. Totally worth $40!

Easy and fast installation if you have a basic understanding of simple mechanics. The installation of all 9 took about 15 to 20 minutes. They look and feel very solid and do not rattle at all while driving. They spring in and latch out so hooking on to them one handed is pretty simple. Definitely recommend.

These are pretty cool tie downs. easy to install if you read the directions.

This item is built well and will serve well once installation is completed properly. Installation is a lot more complicated then I expected it to be. I've spent close to an hour putting 6 of these on in the humid Florida scorching sun and sweat like a dog; four went OK, takes about 5 minutes, but two takes forever due to a binding effect. Due to the angle of the loop and how the screw goes in, you need to have SMALL fingers and mechanically inclined. Truckers hands? you'll probably curse the designers like there's no tomorrow. Installation instruction is very basic and also points to searching for videos on YouTube but it doesn't address or help the installation. Once installed, it looks solid but I haven't put it to the test yet. I'd give it a 5 stars if the design accounts for installation but being what it is, a 4 star is generous. A 5 Star for the quality from the looks and feel of it.

The Amazon garage filter was saying that they do not fit GMC canyon 2022, but they do, I love the fact they are retractable so they are not in the way went not in use

I have purchased and installed this retractable tie down anchors by Tigeracing in my GMC 2500 HD truck for extra tie down options in 9 locations to prevent tools sliding around and stay secure in place. My truck had already drilled out the holes and this anchors fit perfectly without modifications. The installation was not difficult and straight forward with easy to follow instructions, a #2 Philips screw driver is needed for removing and re installing the single screw in each anchor. The anchors themselves, are build really well, CNC precision machined to size aluminum blocks, and stainless steel loops and hardware with spring loaded for easy retract when not in use and also locks in extended position to easily hook on the straps. The backing plate is fairly tick (2mm), I would say they are heavy duty, listed at 3000lbs capacity, I think this is combined load capacity between all 9 anchors if used together, it makes sense at about 330 lbs each but I can see them holding a lot more load. As calculated from ANSI 304 tensile strength for this nuts and threaded loop (as a bolt)each can carry loads up to 3400lbs x2, that’s impressive and leaves to look at the weakest point, the backing plate of the anchor at 2mm thick and the truck sheet metal gauge that could bend under high tension but for my use they are perfect. Very good value for 9 pc pack at just $16/pc, they look really good and functional. Thanks

Super easy install. Nice slick tie-downs. Ready to go at all time but never in the way. I ended up put one in all 10 spots in the bed of my colorado. Makes strapping anything down in my truck a breeze
