I have always been a keen DIYer and have spent most of the past 30 years working as a refrigeration installation engineer. In short I've often had the need to get 'things' level, however, I was always 'Mr Traditional' and used regular 'bubble type' spirit levels. A natural drawback of these is the cost in time using these takes, checking, re-checking, re-aligning, checking again and so on. Anyway a change of career, and a foray into joinery, I've found a greater need for getting things level and to do so more often than ever. Enter into the fray 'laser levels' shown to me by a pal using his 'rather expensive, synonymously branded' device and the "I have to get one of these" moments that followed. Green laser (brighter than red outdoors, my friends has a red beam) Auto leveling feature (like my friend's) Level/Angle locking feature (unlike my friend's) Rechargeable lithium battery (unlike my friend's) USB C charging (unlike my friend's) USB C/mains operating (unlike my friend's) GREAT PRICE (unlike my friend's) Very impressed with this tool and its ease of use. Way better/quicker than traditional levels as once it set in place, both hand are free to do the task at hand. This makes for huge savings in time to do the job. No more checking and re-checking, re-aligning etc.... And for a novice like me, learning a new trade, that is invaluable. As for the brand 'Huepar' I'd never heard of it, and nor have a couple of my friends who have long been tradesmen, I was slightly sceptical about what the quality of this item would be like. In truth, now I have it, have used it and my friends have seen it. I can unequivocally say the quality is very high. Thank you Huepar for making a high quality, multi-featured and very affordable piece of kit that I absolutely know will help me in my new career. Jon Finch

A Brilliant laser level at a great price! Bought this to carry out DIY projects around the home. The laser comes in a tough case which holds the laser really well and is ideal protection for when not in use. There is a lock so the mechanics of the level do not move when in transit. Battery is rechargeable which is a great feature and comes with USB lead and cable. The laser level has options for Horizontal,Vertical or both lines at the same time. The bracket is also robust and with the magnet on the reverse is very handy for securing to a metal surface. There is also a screw hole so you can hang the level from a screw if you cannot use the magnet. My only issue with this feature is that you have to remove the whole laser level from the bracket and measure the location of the screw and fix the bracket to the wall. This can take a few attempts to get it right but it works perfectly once done. (See photos of level fixed to the wall using a screw). The level is very bright and also has a "pulse" mode which makes the line a bit thinner which is what I prefer. I used this in a standard garage to fix some sockets as I wanted them to be level all around. The level made the job much easier rather than measuring with a tape & spirit level. Can't fault it for the price. I looked at some other Huepar laser levels but if you want a level that has some more advanced features then this level is for you!

I wanted this to help to make a footing for a garden wall in addition to the usual stuff that you'd need a level for indoors. I was going to go for a Bosch (more expensive, great reviews, and I already use Bosch tools) but I looked at this one and a couple of others with a similar number of 5-star reviews. It has large and small screw holes underneath - the small one IS for any standard photographic tripod (another reviewer said otherwise; I've got a Cullmann and a Manfrotto, the latter used in the vid). As another has mentioned, it worked straight out of the box as the battery was already charged. You just pull off the insulating plastic strip from the battery and switch on. Switch the pendulum lock (for transport) off and it self-levels. It was as precise as claimed in the bumpf. I tilted the tripod head within the 4-degree range and the laser was accurate each time. The promo videos show how bright it looks on nice pale indoor surfaces, but the vid here gives an idea how it looks outside against dark wood or soil rather than white walls, so a green laser was necessary for that instead of a red one, I think. Dead handy.

This level was excellent . The reason of not given it 5 stars is because I have had to return it as the magnetic bracket wasent straight so made the level out of line

Having used the Bosch and dewalt Laser levels in the past, I was concerned that this one seemed to be low cost. Out of the box, it was really obvious that it is a well made product. Feels solid and fits nicely in its carry case. I charged the battery as detailed in the simple instruction manual and away I went. Firstly, I set out against known mark ups on site. I needed to confirm that it was accurate. It's spot on, dead accurate and perfectly clear. The repeater is brilliant when setting out in larger rooms and in bright daylight settings. I use this for setting our bathrooms and pipe runs and as with any tool, as you find something that works well, you use it more and more. I purchased the fine adjustment base too and it's so much better than tweaking the whole unit back and forth until you get it right. Quick to set up and easy to get in the right position first time. Three dimensional set out lines are brilliant and easy to set up. Dr setting out suspended drainage runs, the lock feature is a must, allowing you to fix a line with a gradient. This will definitely spend more time in use than in the box and I would recommend it to any tradesman as a tool that will make a difference every day you use it.
