How do you program this with a tv?

Hi. this remote is pre-programed. Just need to put new batteries in and It will work right straight out of the box. Do not need to set up ！

How well does the volume control work on an avr-590? my current remote takes forever to change volume.

This remote works great on volume control. This is the exact reason we replaced our old one.
