Hands down- best baby monitor! GET IT!!
LOVE this monitor! I had a Motorola prior to this one for 4 years. Knowing we were going to have another after our 2nd and just being frustrated with our first camera, I wanted a different one that scanned the room (or even just showed the entire crib), had a long battery life and better range than what we had. This monitor and camera exceeded all of that!!! The battery lasts for at least 8+ hours (accidentally left it on from morning and afternoon naps. By nighttime, it was dead), I’m able to do yard work around our 1 acre lot and get range for most of the areas, and it scans his entire crib and room! The picture quality is so great I can even see if his chest is moving up and down to give me comfort! It’s so easy to navigate through the variety of settings, and I like how it can either stay on one camera consistently or jump back and forth between my two boys’ rooms. HIGHLY suggest this camera to anyone and worth every penny!!! If you plan on having more than one child, just get 2 cameras right away! You won’t regret it!

Greatest baby monitor!
I searched high and low for the best baby monitor. I tried two non name brand baby monitors off amazon, the owlet cam, infant optics, and a WiFi security cam that doubled as a baby monitor and I have returned them all because of their connectivity issues. My mom has the Summer Glimpse monitor at her house and since we really liked the way it worked we splurged for this one and we are beyond happy with it! The screen is so clear in both day/night vision. I’ve brought this monitor upstairs and outside and it never looses signal. We love the vox feature that illuminates the screen when there is noise detected in our son’s room - every other monitor we tried had some sort of bright light illuminated while we were trying to sleep. The pan tilt feature and zoom are awesome and we love the fact that we can add up to four cameras since we plan on having more children. Definitely worth the money!!

It would be great if it actually worked
I wanted to love this camera so bad. It has the potential to be great - the picture quality is amazing and it has a wide range which is great because we have two kids sharing a room... unfortunately we’ve now sent 2 back and are on our 3rd (in 2 weeks) and there’s always an issue. The first one we bought would just randomly shut off when we raised the antenna. I figured it was a dud so I returned and got a new one. The second had a constant clicking sound from the camera that my kids hated. Now I’m on the third one, night 5 and the volume just completely stopped working. I also noticed the battery life is awful, It doesn’t make it through an 8 hour night without dying. It’s a shame because this camera would be great if it worked properly. Now we have a camera with no sound which is basically useless to us.

Another great Summer product
I have had horrible luck with video monitors. I LOVE summer products and had a summer monitor with my first child. By the time came along to have our second they no longer made the camera so I needed to buy one that had two cameras. I’ve gone through 2 vtech, hello baby, and a WiFi one that was hacked. I saw summer released this one and I really didn’t want to spend 200+ dollars but for peace of mind it is worth it. Pros- incredibly easy to use, pretty self explanatory. Night vision is amazing, not as well at the 1080p WiFi camera that was hacked into but for a closed circuit baby monitor it’s one of the best I’ve seen. This was the selling point for me. It has an eco mode which I don’t mind. The monitor screen doesn’t stay on all the time but it does respond to sounds which you can see on the bar. I don’t have use for the movement box or the lullabies but they are a nice addition and for someone with a smaller baby is useful. The battery life is long and so far no issues. But I do know If there are any issues summer is extremely good with helping and sending a new unit if needed. Cons honestly so far I only have one. I wish the camera was more secure on the wall. All that is securing it is a screw. I put a 3m double sided sticky to just double secure it. Other monitors I’ve had has had something it goes into and screws in the wall. Or at least two screws. If there are any other issues that arise I’ll update. But so far so good and I’m very silly with it.

Love this moitor - AMAZING Picture Quality
I absolutely LOVE this monitor, I just purchased it to replace the old Levana monitor that I had, whichI kept having to send back for replacements (over 5 times in the last year and a half), so I finally gave in and decided to purchase another monitor all together. My overall impression of this monitor is its fantastic! The picture quality and sound are great and I still cant get over how clear the picture is, especially in the dark when it's using the night vision (there is no pixilation and it's crystal clear). I also haven't experienced any lag time with it at all. My other monitor doesn't even come close to comparing to this one. This monitor is super easy to use, the camera was easy to install, there are no bright lights that are distracting to my daughter (on the actual camera) when the lights are off. I like the 2 way talk function, which I had with my other monitor and I tend to use quite a bit. I like that you can set a boundary and will notify you if your child crosses it. The ONLY reason I am giving this monitor 4 stars is because the screen doesn't stay on unless it's plugged in. If it's not on the charger it goes into power save mode and the screen goes black and you have to keep turning it back on if you want to see the room. It does have voice activation, so when it's in the power save mode, that will turn the monitor screen back on if there is any kind of noise that it detects. But for me, I prefer to have the screen on fully, at least until my daughter falls asleep because some times she has a hard time sleeping but doesn't always make a lot of noise. I did call over to the manufacturer and they said as of now there is no option to turn off the power save mode and keep the screen on when it's not plugged in. So the only thing I would say is that if being able to have the monitor on all the time is important to you, you may want to reconsider getting this one. Otherwise, this monitor is AMAZING and I would highly recommend it!

Update: the camera did stop working in about 11 months. I kept the receipt and got full refund from company. Would likely still buy again and at first indication of issues seek another refund. I have yet to find another camera like this that doesn't need wifi or smart phone to connect. Still considering purchasing another for next baby. Absolutely LOVE this monitor. I had the summer Infant Cadet before this and it's crap. This Zoom HD has an amazing camera and parent unit. The image is crystal clear in day time and night time. The zoom remains clear when in use. It has a "boundary" box to alert you if baby is leaving the designated area which is great for toddlers who leave their beds at night because the unit will make a noise to wake you up. It has many other features we haven't used yet but hands down happy that I got this and have been recommending it to other family members with babies to buy. It has additional cameras that you can buy but currently we only need the one it comes with. Battery is great too, lasts longer than what I need it to and I plug it in at night. I highly recommend this camera. I have tried: Project Nursery, Safety 1st wifi and summer infant cadet and I either returned them for poor design and function or they broke within 1 year and returned for refund.

We like it very much.

Giant waste of money! After two months of use the monitor stopped charging when plugged in. Do yourself a favour and keep your money. I am so angry I wasted so much money on a piece of junk.

Bought this when our 4 month old moved from her bassinet into a crib in her own room. As a first time Mom I wanted excellent picture quality.. and this monitor did not disappoint. Out of our 3 monitors this one has the best picture quality in this price range. But after 7 months of use, I’ve learned that other features are equally as important and I regret this purchase. What doesn’t work for us: • The screen auto shuts off (this was never a problem for us) which is advertised as allowing for a longer battery life, but after 7 months of use the monitor battery lasts only 5-10mins before needing to be plugged in • The sound is awful and inconsistent.. levels 1, 2, and 3 all sound the same, and levels 4 and 5 sound the same (so really it’s only 2 levels of sound, either too quiet or too loud, there is no in between) • The range is interrupted constantly in our small two floor home, can’t bring the monitor to any area of the basement that isn’t directly under baby’s bedroom

At first this product is great, picture quality is good. However a few things are annoying, when not plugged in the screen will go off, there is no way to change this setting. You can’t have a split screen. I am currently on my second monitor, they replaced the first one after the battery life diminished. This new one was even worse and now us to be plugged in or it beeps incessantly.
