This case goes on and comes off easily, and once on is snug and stays put. It looks good and does its job, which is to protect a very expensive calculator from its daily drop onto a hard tile floor! One note -- it does not fit with the removable hard cover that comes with the calculator -- you have to use one or the other. I'm not sure whether the hard cover would offer more protection or not, but it is moot in our household where the 12 year old calculator user loses all accessories that are not nailed down. This stays on when the calculator is in use and therefore does the job!

Fits great, looks great, works great for me. Who could ask for anything more? Provides protection I need while making the calculator always readily available. No need to be taking the cover on and off continually.

I think these are important and they would have influenced my decision to not purchase this item.-It is too flimsy to be an effective case. (If "case" means something that holds or protects the item)-The screen is left unprotected.Unless you are just looking for a cosmetic cover, stick with the original cover that comes with the calculator.

I really like this cover, it makes it easy to find my calculator at the bottom of my bag.Note that if you have a cover it will not fit over the Si case.It stays firmly on my calculator and I really like it.

Although the case fits the calculator perfectly, once we received the calculator, it was obvious that the calculator's own hard case is far more protective than the silicone one, although obviously you cannot keep the hard case on while you are using the calculator since it covers up the front of the calculator. If you want a protective cover to use to carry the calculator back and forth to school, then the calculator's own case is a much better choice; however, if you just use the calculator in one location and never take it anywhere, then the silicone case is a good choice.

Works great! Have had it for a year now and it still looks new. Rejuvenates the calculator's appeal and protects it. I never had a sliding cover, and have always thought they were annoying, so this fit the bill.

Overall, it looks exactly like the pictures and does what it is supposed to do! I needed a new TI-83 after my previous one was stolen :( My previous one was the limited pink edition which I loved, but even to buy a used pink one cost over $100. So instead I bought a used standard black one for $40 and bought this little cover for it in pink.I love that it has some grip to it, great for when you are outside doing lab and field work! It also helps separate your calculator from everyone else's and makes it easier to see and find when you are rooting around your backpack. It is hard to describe the texture, the silicone it is made from has a softer more "velvety" feel to it as opposed tot he silicone which is kind of gummy feeling to the touch (think silicone bakeware). I deeply prefer the soft velvety kind because it never feels sticky, cleans up much easier, and doesn't attract lint or whatever els else floating around your backpack.The only reason I didn't give it the full five stars is because the fit of the design doesn't allow the cover to be put on. This means it can accidentally get turned on while in your bag and run out the batteries. Most of the time when I take this out of my backpack it has already been turned on. Since TI-83's don't have solar power, this could come back to bite you. I've had my batteries die in the middle of an exam before because this gets turned on by accident.However, it does fit perfectly and never pops off. It fits so snugly and nicely that most people who see it think that it was made pink and rubbery, they don't even realize it is a cover! So overall, would purchase again and recommend but the only downer i the lack of cover.

Put the calculator perfectly. Makes it easier for my son to find a Calculator in his backpack, to identify which calculator is his in class and gives it grip so he doesn’t drop it.
