Great Boot Tree, Keep Your Boots in Shape
Ariat Unisex Boot Trees Tan Shoe Tree I like these boot trees, and already owned a pair. I was glad to find more on Amazon so I can put them in more of my boots. These boot trees are great for storing boots upright, holding the shape, and keeping boots lined up neatly in the closet. The Ariat Boot Trees are easy to insert and remove with the handle, you press and squeeze at the top. It makes the boot tree thinner so it easily inserts into your boots with one hand. Release the handle and the boot tree opens to the size of your boot, and holds it in shape all the way to the sole. No more wrinkled or misshapen ankles or cracks in the leather. Press on the handle and the boot tree is easy to remove when you want to wear your boots.

lightweight boot tree
Good lightweight boot tree. Helps leather boot shaft stay upright after wearing. (As others have stated, this will not stretch the boot shaft in any way; it merely serves as a support in place of the cardboard boot shaft 'stuffing' that most manufacturers place in the boot shaft for shipping.) These lightweight plastic boot trees are better than the cardboard--better support from molded plastic, light spring-loaded pressure, and easy trigger pull on/off. They are about 2" shorter than the top of my boots (~17"). I have only used these for a few days, so can't comment on durability. I would recommend these to anyone who seeks an easy to use, very lightweight boot form with light pressure. If you need a boot tree that can provide more pressure to the boot shaft, I'd recommend a cedar boot tree with curved shaft that follows the actual curve of the leg (calf) and extends taller than the top of the boot shaft. The boot shaft here has a slight curve/extension at the calf, but it goes straight up vertically from that point; not curved/contoured the entire shaft. Overall, 4 of 5 stars for a lightweight product, easy to use, keeps boot shaft upright. Shaft height is a little short for some boots (my boots measure 17" tall), and spring-loaded tension is very light--would prefer a little stronger spring for more firm pressure on the boot shaft. (That is a comment for Ariat, the manufacturer, not the online merchant.)

Terrible quality
I was shocked how cheaply made this product is! For the money they charge and being a great boot company, the boot trees are terrible!!!

Okay boot trees- over priced
Decent boot trees- other than being a different color (who cares)- looks exactly as advertised. Why 3 stars? Because I love paying more for a product than what the sticker price is when it arrives! (Sarcasm intended)

What are you thinking about?!
If you've purchased a $200+ pair of boots, you will undoubtedly want to support the leather and make sure there are no creases in the future.... right? Maybe you're new to this genuine, not crap made boot world that has existed for, well, millennia. Throw away your plastic molded Steve Maddens and treat yourself to a real pair of shoes. These boot stays are simply divine, well-made, and up to the task of supporting the calf of up-to-the-knee boots. These fit Frye regular calf boots perfectly and will ensure years of trouble free leather care. Do yourself a favor, don't skimp out after blowing the budget on your boots. If quality and properly stored, boots may last for decades.

So sturdy!
The boot trees that came with my ariat boots broke fairly quickly so I needed a new pair but wanted them to be a bit more sturdy. These have held up great so far. No issues with getting them in and out of boots - the handle really helps.
