Different from store
These are a bit different from the peppered beef jerky I buy in the store (the ones in bags are different also). The meat is the same, though a bit drier- tastes a little less fresh, but still good. The flavoring is more salty and less pepper. I guess they make them in a different factory in different regions and the flavoring varies a bit. The ones around here are super peppery which I like. The ones I ordered are a bit too salty and not enough pepper but not bad. The gas station charges two dollars and change each so I saved money ordering these.

Some are grey and fuzzy
Please be careful. I dodnt check these and sent my son to school with one as he doesnt get lunch until 2pm. He opened it, and not onky is it a greyish color, but its fuzzy. He came home and told me. I went and looked at the box, and about half of them are grey and fuzzy. In the picture, on the left is a good one. The right is the grey fuzzy one. Yes, I might try to buy it again in hopes it was a one time thing because these are my sons fav beef sticks and it becomes to much getting one at a time at the store.
