The quilts in the book look like the are possible to accomplish. There are two that I want to start right this instant! I especially appreciate the historical information about brave women of the past...it's encouraging for women today.

Delivery very prompt, packaged well. Book had been described as being in good condition - it's like brand new! Great addition to my selection of Civil War era quilts.

For some patterns you have to go to their web site to get the patterns enlarged. Other than the book is worth every dollar I spent on it. The information is awesome. The patterns that do not need enlarging are great, and clear. Would buy the book again.

Great patterns and especially, great pictures and stories of the brave women who served in the battlefield, wrote, and, promoted the course of freedom. A great read for all quilters!

This is a wonderful book, not only if you are obviously a quilter and you like traditional American Civil War Quilts, but clearly profiles the role of some very brave women 'behind the scenes' so to speak. Can't wait to get started, all the fun in planning the quilt, but a good read as well.

Not a particularly thick book, but the quilts are gorgeous, and the instructions comprehensive. Each quilt features a few paragraphs on notable women of the civil war. I’d buy it again.

lots of designs to choose from and a good historical read as a bonus
