Professional tip ups at a good price.
Great quality. Shipping made one of the spool handles a little crooked. But doesn’t look like a fault of the product. Great overall design. I got the Blackhawk stealth and they look very professional on the ice. The flags come rolled up and take a while to get to lay flat and display as intended. I suggest an iron on very low, with a towel over it as they are a nylon type material. Alternatively you can lay packing tape on both sides of the flag and basically laminate them. Good luck on the ice. These are great for the price. I’ve bought them several times now at the price of $12-$15 dollars US.

Easy to use and hold up well on the ice. Good buy
Price is good for these tip ups. Easy to use. No rust seen yet. Seem to he made well.

Decent tip up
Like the ease of use, brightness of the color and the scale. The mechanisms work well but the one that came to me is missing the nut to hold everything to the base. If would have had 5 stars if it had that.

excellent for the price
I still prefer this folding cross stick design for tip-ups. I find them most visible from a distance with snow on the ice, and they are stable because of the wide leg spread. With a little practice you can adjust the sensitivity simply by the placement of the flag on the trip wire from the spool. They fold up to be a long narrow item which carries in almost any duffle, bag, or container, and they're light. This brand has a nice quality wood and the hardware functions smoothly. What more could you want from a tip-up? I've got some from the 1980's still working fine. If you treat them right and some dingbat on a snowmobile doesn't hit them, they could easily last a lifetime.
A**!
Best Tip-Ups - great price
I have bought these in all colors and variations (yellow, orange, Black and yellow) for my husband for Ice-Fishing on more than one occasion! To say he absolutely loved them is an understatement! Our family fishes in Northern Michigan A LOT (pretty much lives out there from morning dark till after dark in the evening on his days off). He is a very avid fisherman in all species of fish in Michigan (in every season) but especially in the Winter. I will not deny the false positive that others have complained about - we have had high wind which will once and while cause a false flag but a whole lot more infrequently than ALL of our other above ground and handmade tip-ups. There is NO perfect Tip-up- if there were I’d say this would have to be it with all the tip-up we have used. They do store in the bucket nicely and go on and off the ice easily in the jet sled. The ONLY downside is sometimes when you really start catching a lot of fish and you have to take the tip up off the hole a lot and let it sit on the ice/snow while you are putting minnows on or adding bigger hooks or wire leaders, ice can build up on the top side of the pivot mechanism just enough for it to be really hard to collapse it back down when it comes time to pack up (usually in the dark - which is another feature we love as some of the frabill tipips (not the orange one) have indicator lights on the flag that flash when you get a hit - if you don’t plan to fish with tip ups after dark the orange one is good enough) Anyway the freezing pivot mechanism above the line - It’s not totally design related - it’s high use of dipping into water and taking it out over and over - it’s just weather and just life - nothing you can really do when it gets that cold - everything freezes up and has a hard time With a lot of use. When my car doors freeze shut during a polar vortex - I don’t call the dealer or the manufacturer and complain - it’s just life 🤷🏼♀️ We just bring the tip-ups home and thaw it on an old towel and let it warm up and dry out which isn’t a bad thing to do anyway from time to time. Good luck out there - enjoy your new tip ups - you won’t be sad you chose these! Frabill rocks!!!

Do they really work?!
These ice fishing tip ups not only work exactly as they should, they are also well built. With heavy duty plastic for the above ice part that doubles as a measuring stick for those whopper of fish you will hopefully catch. The shaft is made of metal which is really nice and holds up much better then thin plastic parts in the below temperatures. It folds up nicely for storage. I will definitely be buying more of them. 5 out of 5 for me personally.

Low priced, but for reasons....(Updated)
I purchased these because they were very low priced and I could fish more holes for less $$. There's a reason for that low price. The metal line guides have rough spots that might snag braided line. The flags are not telescopic like others. The plastic has some flashing and sharp edges. The spools are plastic and not as nice as the ones on $15 tip-ups and nowhere as nice as the ones on $30 tip-ups. That said, they spooled up with line fine and appear to function properly. I haven't fished them yet, but I expect them to work. I do have concerns about their durability and if they will create any problems with line. I'll update this after I put them to work. (Update) They catch fish! However I still only give them 3 stars. The quality simply isn't there. Fit and finish are off and after a couple days of lake fishing there are already signs of corrosion. One of the 5 developed a heavy drag that I was able to adjust. They just aren't as nice as my other tip-ups. If saving $5 is important, go for it. If not, try the better built tip-ups for a few dollars more....
