I absolutely love Sun Bum Wave Cream. I literally use it every single day. I get compliments on my hair all the time. People always look surprised when I tell them that my curl is natural, and I credit this curl cream for that fact. I have tried so many different hair products for curly hair, and none of them make my curls look as good as this curl cream does. Even the higher end, salon products aren't as good as the Sun Bum cream, making this an amazing value. It has a very lightweight hold. It never makes my hair crunchy or stiff. It smells great, a bit like coconuts, but it is not overpowering at all. It leaves my hair shiny and healthy looking as it gently encourages my hair to have a bouncy curl. My favorite feature of this cream is that it gets rid of all the static. I use it on wet and dry hair. It only takes a small dab, about the size of two peas, so one tube lasts a long time. My hair tends to get oily fast, and I can use this every day without it making my hair oily or look dirty. When my hair is dry, I just put a dab of this cream in my palm, rub my hands together, and then pat it through my hair. Then I gently comb through my hair, then scrunch the curls back in for a quick refresh. I love this cream and hope they never stop making it.

I am obsessed with Sun Bum’s Curls & Waves Cream! It gives my hair the perfect soft, beachy texture without that crunchy, stiff feeling a lot of other products leave behind. It’s lightweight, smells amazing (like summer in a bottle!), and really brings out the natural wave in my hair. I love that it’s infused with nourishing ingredients like coconut oil and seaweed — it doesn’t just style, it conditions too. If you have not tried this, you MUST. It has been a staple for my hair care routine for at least two years. Not crunchy necessarily but you do have to scrunch when it dries to get the product to separate curls. I have fine, thin hair that is very wavy, but not kinky curls. Like I said, you do have to scrunch it a little to get your hair to separate, and it allows my hair to fluff up for volume. Great hold. I can actually go two to three days without wash. I just scrunch water through my hair in the morning and it springs back to life. I love the scent. Not greasy. Highly, highly, highly recommend.

It's really. Smells well, hair are soft. Only reason for 4 star, it's kind of weighting down my hair. But it curls well

I have wavy hair so I've been on the hunt for products that won't weigh my hair down. I love love love this curl cream. It's definitely light weight and brings some life to my curls. I combine with a couple other products depending on what I'm doing with my hair but this is definitely one I use all the time.

Solid curl cream that isn’t too heavy for my wavy (but thin) hair. I also love the smell! The bottle seems to last a long time—I’ve had this for ~5 months, wash my hair 3-4x/week, and use this product after every wash. I still have at least 1/3 of the bottle left, so I think this is a great value.

If you like a little bit more of a gel consistency and a little bit more crunch to your hair, this will work for you! It does bring out my curls but I don’t like crunchy feeling to my hair. Not much scent. I wouldn’t order again.

Long review but worth the read if you want to know how to get the best results from this, feel confident in your purchase, and hear it from a person who’s used it for a couple weeks and has now signed up for monthly subscriptions. This is my favorite product from the Sun Bum line for curly hair. I recently got a beach wave perm and was looking at many different products & brands. I stumbled upon the Sun Bum line and bought everything they had for curly/wavy hair to try in my quest to find a good product to replace the Aussie line I had always used. I’ve used this for 2 weeks now, I use this fresh out of the shower. I use a large tooth comb to detangle, then while my hair is still very wet, I flip my head down and while my hair is hanging I apply this & work it throughly threw my hair. I then use a hair towel to scrunch my hair up in sections, that removes any excess water and adds life and hold to my curls. I then do my makeup and finish my morning routine as my hair is air drying, when it’s just a little damp I then use the Sun Bum curling whipped mousse. I add a little towards my scalp working it in with my fingers, then put a quarter size amount of the mousse in my hand & apply it from the bottom of my hair scrunching it with my fist in an up direction then letting the curls fall naturally. I love these 2 products when used together. Long lasting, beautiful natural looking not crunchy feeling curls that last all day, with no frizz even on humid or windy days. If you’re on the fence, but it and try it. I was hesitant but after 2 weeks of using it I can honestly say it’s worth every penny. I get so many compliments on how soft my hair is and how beautiful the curls are. Also on the smell!! It smells great!!
