C Programming: A Modern Approach

This is one of the best books on C programming, I like the examples, the definitions.

This book was an excellent complement to the professor I had for basic C programming. I'd venture to say that even someone with little to no computer experience could learn from it. One really nice feature is the Q & A section where obvious questions about the material are asked and then answered by the author such as: "Why is the C language so terse?" There is not an excess of information, but it gives a great deal of examples and even source code so you can see how the system compiles it. If I were teaching myself the C language, this would probably be the first book I went to.

This book has been a lifesaver for me in my class. It breaks things down to a molecular level and provides little, easy to digest examples. 9 weeks ago I didn't even know what C was, and now im confident enough to apply for jobs using C. I wish more languages had textbooks written like this.

Have this class, so far it's going good was able to do home work and assignment work properly the first time. Hello was exciting. I also purchased the study guide. This was a big help as well.

This item was received at a reasonable amount it time from ordering it. The cover and pages appear to be in excellent conditioning. It is mostly what I need to recall C for an online class.

Absolutely have no problem with the seller. The book arrived in good condition and quite quickly. The book itself is well organized and nicely written. However, some subjects are covered a bit too cursorily without enough explanations regarding program flow in some cases. I could easily see how, in some circumstances, a beginner could become confused when trying to decipher programming examples. And this becomes noticeable among the more complex subjects. Nevertheless, for a good part of the book this is not a problem, but seems to pop up at crucial times.This is a good book on C programming, not a great book.

This book is great. It's very thorough and easy for begginer's to understand. It's very good at explaing the concepts and has lots of good and bad programming examples for more clarity.
