Dissolves easily and completely (dissolves quickly in hot water, slower in cold water). Nice flavor and great packaging. Can be tough to get the lid open but I prefer that over a loose lid. I order this on a regular basis.

Great addition to the kitchen

We frequently order the 3.5 gallon tub, but we've noticed that it's getting increasingly harder to remove the plastic seal. Our most recent one is almost impossible to open. Not sure what happened, but something changed and I'm hoping they fix it soon.

So I wanted to like dextrose, I was trying to do a brain rehabilitation protocol using 24 grams of dextrose 4 times a day. The theory is every time your brain senses a trauma is happening it clamps down on the amount of glucose that can enter because too much enters during a trauma which can use up glucose too fast, so every time this happens it clamps down a little bit this is the theory behind why too many concussions cause suicide and rage the brain isn't getting enough glucose even if blood glucose is HIGH. Anyway, I was starting out with 1 TBS 4 times a day, well... let me tell you my gut did not like it! I had acid reflux, massive bloating and nausea. This isn't really a knock on the manufacturer or product itself so I still gave it 4 stars for the value of the product (I hate when someone gives a supplement no stars because they didn't react well to it), more so a warning for those who want to start taking it. You may have to go really slow, like 1/2 tsp a day or something for weeks.

It’s exactly what you would expect it to be.

I use this instead of sucrose sugar in baking. It is less sweet than "regular" sugar so I use the Sweet Monk brand of liquid monk fruit to "amp up" the sweetness. It still caramelizes pretty well.

Big ole bucket of dextrose at a great price. The lid is a bit or a chore but appreciate it being a tight fit.
