So I was tired of buying bottled water and it was becoming expensive. I saw this on TikTok and decided to give it a try. I normally drink filtered water through a PUR faucet filter but this is so much better. I wanted to try alkaline water and had started with Body Armor water. Well needless to say I was drinking more than I expected and it was becoming more and more difficult to carry to work. This made it so much more easier on me. I fill up my water bottle in the night before and by the next morning she’s ready! It says it’s optimal after 15 minutes, which I did try, but the longer you wait the better the water tastes. I will definitely say to clean your water bottle regularly because it can change the taste of your water. Overall I think this was the best thing I could’ve gotten off Amazon. Plus it has an app to track usage, but I don’t use it.

I hesitate to review without knowing whether the water is actually alkaline (since I haven't tested it), but after a few initial off tasting bottles of water, there is no off taste at all! I've cut out my use of plastic water bottles and use this instead, and feel great about it. I use it because I'm trying to offset silent heartburn. This isn't a proven treatment but there is some thought that drinking alkaline water will denature any stray pepsin that has snuck into your throat from reflux, and reduce the damage being done to the tissue in your throat if you are mitigating this incursion regularly throughout the day. Hard for me to say if it is working, but I actually left my bottle with it inside at my parents' place a week ago (they are shipping it back) and I have noticed a suspicious increase in mucus drainage in the back of my throat. Could be coincidence, but could be because the reflux is not being neutralized as well. Hard to say. But I'm happy with the purchase!

It's very easy to use. Taste is fine (don't know what the other reviewers are talking about). It does NOT appear to alkalize the water to pH 9.5 , as advertised. After sitting all day in a small amount of water, I measured the alkalinity to be only around pH 8.

The first bottle full, I didn't like the taste. Then, it got better and better. I think one should just rinse it more or throw out the first few fills. I know it's helping because I don't have to take a supplement for my leg cramps in the night any longer. The minerals are helping and the water taste fresh!

I prefer to drink alkaline water but I wanted to find something that didn’t involve buying it in plastic bottles. This seemed like the perfect solution, drop in my water bottle and go. First of all it didn’t work in my stainless steel bottle. The opening was big enough to go in but would never have come out afterwards. So I switched out with my husband’s which has a slightly larger opening and added water. First few sips were ok. Then the water started taking on a chemical taste that got worse the longer it was in the bottle. It became undrinkable within 20 minutes.

I just recently got this filter and decided to test my water to see if it does work. Using pH testing paper, I measured the pH after 15 minutes and it was 7. I waited to test one hour later and it tested at 8. Two hours later, it was still at 8. The company claims that the water pH will go up to 9.5+ after 15 minutes. This is not the case. Even after 2 hours the water pH is still holding at 8. Not sure if the filter is too small and needs more/bigger holes to filter through, but it just does not raise the pH. Save your money.

Arrived on time. She said it makes her water taste wonderful and no rotten egg smell! She said it is amazing! She had been paying $30 for a case of 12 - 1 liter bottles every 2 weeks. She is now saving so much money and she said the flavor of the water is amazing. I bought for her to go along with a stainless steel water bottle as a gift during the COVID19 Pandemic and she is loving it! 3/27/20 UPDATE - ok so rotten egg smell has appeared 3 days in but she is trying some options...using her tap water instead of bottled water. She has also checked the pH levels and with Arrowhead water she gets a solid pH of 7. She is enjoying using various waters and has found that the rotten egg smell could be from organic materials found in the water she is using. Will keep this updated for sure since I bought one for myself and wan't to know before I use it.

There is a very poor aftertaste which reminds me of the H2S gas. Stopped using the product!!!

Horrible taste save your money

Dapprima l'ho inserito in circa 2 litri di acqua e funzionava poco e lentamente anche dopo svariate ore. Poi ho messo il filtro in mezzo litro di acqua e subito il ph è cominciato a salire velocemente (misurato con misuratore ph). Quindi funziona, ma l'acqua deve essere poca non più di mezzo litro Ottimo prodotto

Bought this to relieve chronic heartburn with GERD. On daily tablets for 10 years to prevent heartburn and now haven't taken one in almost a month since drinking water with this filter in the bottle. If you have heartburn this won't completely remove it, and it will be a struggle for a few days as your body adapts, but it is definitely manageable now and no longer a painful problem. I don't know anything about supposed health or nutritional benefits of alkaline water, but this problem definitely works 100%. And for the duration the makers claim it lasts for it is also a very reasonably cost over the period of time.

Makes your water taste like rotten eggs!
