SheaMoisture African Black Soap Body Wash 13 fl. oz

Love this soap! Not sure why they raised the price by $5 considering you're still getting the same amount of product (13oz). I love the way the soap foams and leaves my skin soft and clean but not dry at all. The smell is pleasant and not overpowering. I like the body wash better than the bar soap because it doesn't leave a black residue behind and the soapy suds make a great bubble bath. I also like that i can user this on my face to clear up acne that so many other cleansers can't. The soap is organic so I can use it to bath my dogs as well and they don't have any skin issues, rather they are more relaxed after a good bath with this too.

I love this stuff. I have sensitive skin and this helps sis much. I also have kp and it seems to help. How can you go wrong no chemicals in it. It smells fresh, not flowery maybe kinda of nutty. Not in a bad way, unisex. It's hard when you used to buy soft soap and they have great smells. But my skin is soft keratosis pilaris is gone and the little break out on my back are improving I'm happy! This is embarrassing but I used to get uti from all of those cleansers. I even bought the Summer's eve one for whole body not just your vagina to not cause that but the smell of that was gross! Who want to smell he'd to two like a feminine hygiene product!!!!! Ewewww! But the Africa black soap is game changer!

This body wash is amazing. It really is black soap, but don't let that stop you, it has a very light, pleasant scent. It cleans really well and leaves my skin nice and soft. I also use this soap for shaving and have had no skin irritation. It makes a nice rich lather and the smell lingers long after you get out of the shower. The smell is almost like a baby powder scent. The bottle will last a long time as it doesn't take much product to make a nice rich lather. I will continue to purchase this again and recommend it to friends.

Well, I think I found it. A bodywash that actually does what it says. I'm typing this coming off of Aveeno, which had me feeling slippery and wet rather than moisturized out of the shower, and Dove that, again, felt slippery on my skin. This soap, to put it plain, makes me feel comfortable in my own skin. It doesn't make me feel slippery and wet. It's a very simple soap, it cleans you and keeps you from drying out. It would be a perfect soap, but God can we do something about the smell? This is no exaggeration -- it smells like playdoh. Once you actually wash up with it, it's a very light scent and it doesn't linger on your skin much, but it's really off-putting when smelling it right out of the bottle. I suppose this smell is actually a true unscented non fragrance base soap smell, but it takes a bit of getting used to. You'll definitely need some adapting if you're coming to this from the latest white strawberry and bananas Dove bodywash. Oh, and as a little side note, I am a male and this works completely fine for me. Just wanted to say that because so many people think this kind of stuff is women only. Men aren't restricted to the latest axe bodywash or Cedarwood manly scent o/

I have always had issues with pimples and the damage they leave after they are gone. I was looking for a product that would heal, nourish and control blemishes. I had used Shea Moisture products when I was into natural hair and they were great. I ran across the black soap line and started using the bar and then the body wash. This product has done wonders for my skin, not just my face but all over. I will stop using this product. I love it.

I have extreeemely sensitive skin with a tendency to be super dry and easily irritated. This soap is amazing! My skin LOVES it. It has a very light scent but isn’t fragranced. It smells a little like vanilla mixed with an organic cinnamon stick. My skin is so soft and all irritation is gone. I’ll definitely buy again in the future!

I have used this shower gel before and loved it. When I ran out I started using a bottle of a different body wash I had left around my house that needed finished up. But as soon as I stopped using this Shea Moisture Black Soap body wash my back started breaking out. Finally got my hands on another bottle of Shea Moisture and it cleared up within a week. I've learned my lesson and plan on sticking with this one as long as they make it. :)

Smells fantastic, exfoliating and hydrating. I have eczema and very sensitive skin and even though this has fragrance it hasn't irritated my skin at all. I would suggest not shaving with this because the little exfoliating bits get stuck in razors. But it smells great and makes your skin feel great.
