I use it to cut at the most two layers of thin fabric. The 45mm cutter would be better as it cuts several layers of fabric. **Q: will it cut rubber** A: It will cut thin flexible rubber sheets, but not rigid hard rubber. **Q: Will this cut 3mm mount board?** A: I would think that is a bit thick. Rotary cutters are great for fabric but thick mount card would be better with a scalpel.
