If you’re shooting still bursts you won’t see much buffer difference, if you’re after an upgrade from 90mb/s you won’t see much gain, to read at 170mb/s you’ll need a SanDisk UHS-I Card Reader SDDR-C531.... Not sure about shooting 4K video which I’ve not had any problems with the previous card, depends what bit rate you’re using I guess.

If you use a microSD card, it should be working fine with a Samsung mobile phone if it supports 64GB microSD. Is this card compatible with a canon eos 500d  32gb and 64gb

Your camera supports SDXC cards which have a theoretical size limit of 2 TB, so it supports any SD, SDHC or SDXC memory cards on the market.
I use two 64gb in my Canon 5ds and its really good, since my sensor resolution is 50mp and needs very fast/pro cards.
