Since my UV beam was narrow, I was able to pass it through this IR cut filter. I was happily surprised that I could eliminate most of the heating with this one simple action when using this filter. I don't know where the heat went because when I took the assembly apart this filter was warm but not hot. Maybe it dissipates heat quickly, or maybe it took me too long before I tested. Take care to hold only be the edges. At about 3/8" diameter this can be challenging. Use clean disposable gloves, and don't scratch the surfaces. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ As advertised, good quality *by on Reviewed in the United States September 21, 2024* This is as advertised, a good quality IR filter class.
