Glucosamine/Chondroitin and MSM supplements seems to help with arthritis longer-term, but I discovered that a good Omega-3 supplement really help more immediately with my own arthritis, Fibromyalgia, and inflammatory issues, so I searched for a good one for my cat who is getting older and our northern winter's really effect us all. So I did my research and have this a shot. This formula really does good for him. We tried the lower/medium dose version which did seem to help, but as winter came along we switched to the higher dose. It really does help - you can see it in how he walks, plays and the look on his eyes (less pain, more "himself.") The only issue I have is that even keeping the zip lock top sealed, they tend to try out pretty quickly if you don't use them in the directed amount if time. They're still usable, but I break them in half and squish it a bit to make it softer for him. But it's worth it for the difference it makes in his pain and comfort level. I'm told there are other good brands out there and may experiment with them, but I like the ingredient list in this one and how well it works. Even my cat realizes the difference and now "asks" for his medicine in the morning... If you're looking for a good Omega-3/anti-inflammatory supplement for a cat, I highly recommend.
