Parts Express Battery Holder for (4) AA with Standard Snap Connector : BH341

Unit worked perfectly

Item shipped out fast and was exactly what I needed to get my safe to open old battery holder had corroded and safe wouldn’t work

Yesterday afternoon my electronic door lock started flashing red at me… no problem, I can swap out four AA batteries pretty quick. I was wrong. I swapped out two sets of brand new batteries before I grabbed my trusty multimeter and tested it. 0 volts. I tested each battery… 1.5 volts. I tested them in series… 6 volts. I was confused. Somehow this little piece of plastic with a few springs and connected wires had failed. Lucky for me, I have Amazon Prime. I ordered the replacement and it got here in less than 24 hours. The original one (on the left) and its replacement (on the right) have some subtle differences: there is a visible wire on the exterior, the plastic is thinner and more flimsy (which has the slight advantage of making the batteries easier to replace), and the springs are slightly misaligned from the battery poles. BUT, it works fabulously. It connected to the lock with the 9v style snaps on top, fit into the lock easily, and immediately fixed my issue. For a low cost, suitable replacement, I highly recommend this pack.

Worked perfectly

I purchased this as a replacement for a corroded battery holder for Schlage electronic deadbolt door locks. It worked 1:1 and almost looks like it was from the same factory.
