NKJV Study Bible, Bonded Leather, Burgundy, Full-Color, Comfort Print: The Complete Resource for Studying God’s Word

Great study Bible, I really enjoy the notes and quality of the pictures. The only draw back for some is that it isn’t larger print. Keep that in mind if it is an issue for you. But if text size is not an issue, I highly recommend this Bible!

It's a beautiful bible. I like that it comes with a box cover to protect it because Amazon doesn't do a very good job at packaging. That will protect it from getting damaged on transport. Great study notes, pictures, and all kinds of extra info that helps you understand context while reading the Bible. It has 2 red ribbons inside. I love it.

Regarding the price, they keep the cost down by printing in China, but Thomas Nelson gives a lifetime guarantee. Regarding the translation, the NKJV gives you the majority text tradition but has the critical text words at the bottom where there are differences. The notes seem unbiased toward a particular theological leaning and are extensive. It's full of additional information and word studies, and also has cross references in parts of the old testament and the gospels where you can easily track to related material. I'm 60 with glasses, and I can see where some would say the font is a bit small, but the print type and colors are bold and contrasting, so I can easily read and enjoy it. If they enlarged the font much they'd have to cut material out or make it a foot thick. It's a little big for traveling, but I wouldn't hesitate to take it to church. I rate this on par with my CSB study bible, but higher than my MacArthur Study Bible due to its calvinist leanings. Wish it were printed in the US or South Korea: it would cost more but I'd pay it.

This Bible has a ton of study material and resources that help you dive deeper into to the text, with full color illustrations and images, and the commentary seems to be much more clear-eyed and purely based on the biblical context, grammatical/historical structure and understanding instead of theological presupposition that only serve to conform the text to a set of doctrines, instead of allowing the text to form our doctrines.

I've been looking for a good study bible that would be a reference for me once I was DONE studying on my own. This is perfect for that. I kept thinking I could find all I need online, but I can't. I have the LOGOS basics package & it doesn't have enough for me & it's hard to get around with a steeper learning curve than I like. I'm also tired of "Google-ing" for answers to my questions. Yep, this is perfect for what I was looking for. There are 3 things that I don't like: it's HEAVY, the print is a bit small for me, & the words of Christ are not in red. Those are very minor for me, as this will be sitting on my desk for reference, it will not be the bible that I read daily.

This is a really nice study Bible. The text is easy to read and the notes are quite detailed. The full color aspect makes this a nice Bible to read, rather than more like a reference book that doesn't have as much aesthetic value. The occasional helps/charts/articles are also well placed and educational. I personally recommend having a variety of study Bibles in multiple translations and note sets, and the NKJV with Thomas Nelson's notes is one of the ones I find myself reading or studying from quite often. I like it so much I've bought three of them in total, so that I could give away the others. Definitely recommended.

I bought this as a present for a friend, and she loves it. Easier to read and understand than the KJV. Great for studying the word.

I love this bible. It has beautiful coloured maps & lots of notes & charts. The font size in the main text is comfortable enough to read. The font size of the notes are a little bit smaller but still comfortable to read. This bible is a wealth of information for spiritual growth.

Brilliant leather finish with golden striped pages. This is a chunky bible that has great commentary, very informative and incredibly vivid pictures. This is a great gift to yourself or someone else. I recommend this to everyone.

Arrived early and packaging is good. Bible is really good, bonded leather quality is really good. Worth buying it, very informative NKJV Study Bible.

I would have given five stars for the book/box, but because of the way it was sent (box was just put in a paper envelope/bag, without any protective material), completely damaged two corners of the box (and misformed corners of the leather a bit). This is so frustrating and I cannot keep the book in the shelf in its cover box now, and returning this heavy book would cost almost as much in shipping as the cost of the book…

Good for enhancing the current bible study I am doing to read the bible in a year. Great pictures and maps. So much extra information giving great context to the passage and referencing other passages translations.
