I've tried many different AHA & BHA lotions and creams for rough skin. I must say, this Gold Bond cream is hands-down THE best in terms of results and value. The closest comparison would be amlactin, which is far more expensive and doesn't smell nearly as nice. CeraVe and Cetaphil's formulas aren't as good as this one, results take far longer to achieve. This lotion makes skin so soft, it absorbs beautifully, and the cost is fantastic. So long as the formula stays the same, I plan on buying this always. The quality and effectiveness of this cream sparked my curiosity with other Gold Bond formulas. Prior, it wasn't a brand I had much interest in as I associated it with medicated powders and stinky lotions. They have actually expanded their product lines, and have some great products for both body and face. Check them out! It can be hard to get quality products at this price point with other brands. 06/22 I've now purchased this lotion three times. I don't use it daily anymore; more like 1-3 times per week. When I first purchased this, I was using it most days. It didn't take long for my skin to be as soft as I can recall in 39 years!! No, I'm not being paid or given free product (I wish!) The results are fantastic, and my skin has stayed this way. It's thick, but it doesn't irritate my skin, have a foul smell (some "fragrance free" products smell like sour vomit), and while it does have a slight smell on application, it fades quickly. I can also use this cream regardless of the weather or temperature. It performs well during all activities, and has never clogged my pores. A tub lasts me about 2 months. Longer now as I don't have to use it as frequently. If you struggle with KP, or dry, textured skin, BUY THIS! I will continue to purchase so long as it's available. And it better be! This is a reasonably priced, quality exfoliating cream. It is nice and thick and absorbs well. It is even helping my poor, neglected rough and bumpy elbows.

Takes a bit but did help with kp. I like that this had little to no scent for me. I think it's very thick, but absorbed at a decent rate. I will continue use of this product.

I originally purchased this at Walmart but I already ordered a second jar so this review would have a verified purchase designation. First let me state, I absolutely despise putting stuff on my skin. Lotion, sun block, many liquid soaps all give me a disgusting feeling of grease no matter how much they claim to be non-greasy. Something I didn't know about this product is it's non-greasy. I bought it expecting to hate the feeling but trust in the Gold Bond brand that it works. The biggest surprise is that it is TRULY non-greasy. This fact will make it a million times easier to keep up long term usage. On to the product itself. This really works. From the immediate application there is a noticeable decrease in the visibility of bumps on my arms. I've had them for over 20 years, it's very easy for me to tell if there's a change. I've now used the cream for almost a week. The bumps are starting to go away. They are much less visible and are thinning out. I apply the cream about an hour or two before bed and let it soak in. I'll place a towel on the chair I'm sitting on to keep it from rubbing off into furniture. Each morning I see there is long term improvement. I will update this review after one full month of usage. As of the end of week 1 I have never been more thrilled in a "beauty product". I honestly expected to buy it and throw it out within days, instead I've already ordered more and haven't even used half a jar. I expect from usage that a jar will last two to three weeks of consistent daily application when covering elbow to neck on an adult male. If you apply more than once per day expect jars consumed in a week or two. If you only use a tiny bit such as elbows and knees only a jar should easily last a month or two. Edit: 5/28 end of the first jar update. There has been a consistent improvement with this product. In the approximate 3 weeks of usage I missed a couple of days but finished my first jar today. While the bumps haven't been eliminated they are far less in quantity and much less noticable. I have high hopes for the results of two whole jars of product. Will update after the next jar. Edit: 6/16 end of the second jar update. Still using this product nearly every day. Seems to be a fairly consistent 3 week consumption rate. Continued improvement. Dominant arm has responded much more clearly than the other, not sure if there was ever a difference to start with. Already received third jar. Optimistic about continued improvement that will be seen by the end of the third jar. Other thoughts, any reviews less than 5 stars on this product greatly irritate me. This product truly works. That's the measure. People finding ridiculous things to complain about to justify removing a star or two are whiners. This product is 6 stars out of 5. Edit: 7/24 end of third jar update. Progress has become much slower. Switched treatment from once nightly to in morning and at night. Doubling the application seems to have continued the trend of reduction in bumps. Nondominant arm still further away from results on the other arm. Once again possible it was always different and unnoticed. Bought 4th and 5th jar. Next update might come after the 5th jar.

I love this cream. I’ve been using it for over a year to keep my 82 year old dry, itchy, chicken bump skin under control. It looks and feels so much better.

Works really well for softening hard calloused skin, BUT if you have cracks or cuts it BURNS like a mf’r. The tub is a pain in the butt to use. How are you supposed to put the lid back on with slippery lotioned up hands? It dries out if you forget, by the way. Used 2-3 times a day it definitely helps soften my hands and keep me from getting splits and cracks. However I have found the o’keefes doesn’t burn and is similar in effect, although must be reapplied more often to maintain moisture. I keep this around the house and use it after I wash my hands and etc but I carry the o keefe’s with me.

This shiz actually works. It made a marked difference to my keratosis pilaris. Even though it’s still there it’s muuuuch better! I know there have been some reviews about the smell but I found it to be really mild and nondescript, didn’t bother me in the slightest. Sinks into the skin quickly too.

Quality at a good price

Es funktioniert. Ich habe mein Leben lang am Po und an den Beinen rote Punkte, teilweise Pickelchen, Probleme mit super empfindlicher Haut nach dem Rasieren, eingewachsene Haare, Haarentfernung war eine Qual. Diese Creme hat zwar Silikonöl drin, was ich sonst immer vermeide, aber die Inhaltsstoffe sind viel sinniger als Amlactin, was ja auch gegen Keratinosis pilaris helfen soll, aber nur viel Milchsäure enthält. Gold Bond Rough and Bumpy hat viel Shea Butter drin, und verschiedene Säuren. Es ist also eine Art chemisches Peeling mit starker Feuchtigkeitspflege dabei. Es riecht mir nicht unangenehm, eher ein bisschen nach Rosinen. Es enthält keine Duftstoffe! Das ist echt super bei meiner empfindlichen Haut. Man braucht nicht viel, das Hautgefühl ist nach dem gründlichen Auftragen schon ein bisschen sticky, aber bei Berührung super zart (Silikonöl eben). Ich habe es gestern Abend vorm Schlafengehen benutzt, es kribbelt ein bisschen nach dem Auftrag, aber das lässt schnell nach und ich habe super zarte Haut nach dem Aufwachen gehabt, die Rumpelecken sind viel glatter. Irre. Auch eben nach dem Rasieren hat es meine Haut super vertragen, normalerweise geht da gar nix ohne Brennen und Rasurbrand. Rote Stellen lassen wirklich nach. Ich benutze es jetzt mal ein paar Wochen zweimal täglich und melde mich zurück. Wäre nur echt gut, wenn es nicht so ein Riegel wäre, aber so kann man eben auch wirklich alles aufbrauchen. Ich bin Privatkäuferin und bekomme kein Geld für diese Rezension. Ich wünschte, ich könnte diese Creme im Handel kaufen, wie in den USA und England...

Llevo 3 días usando la crema y estoy realmente sorprendida, tengo eczema y la estoy usando solamente en las zonas donde tengo la piel muy reseca y mucha comezón. La textura de mi piel ha mejorado notablemente y me ha disminuido la comezón, la estoy usando 3 a 4 veces al día. Estoy esperanzada.
