Are the men's hats and women's hats the same?

According to Carhartt customer service, they are the same in every way. The only difference is that the women's collection has a variety of select colors. Per their website: "THE A18 AND WA018 ARE THE SAME IN MEASUREMENT/FABRIC, ETC. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE WILL BE THE COLOR OPTIONS."

When I add the Patroit Blue hat it say Men's but when I check the cart is say's Women, is this a man's or woman's hat? Thanks.

It can be either. I ripped off the Carhartt tag when I got it, and it blends in with many outfits. If it was for a man, I'd probably leave the tag on.

Is there a good amount of space on the top once you put it on? I know it's a little smaller than the men's one.

Yes, there's plenty of space. I actually find the hat to be a lititle on the large side. I've thrown it in the dryer several times attempting to shrink it!

Are these the same size as the men's?

I think they run smaller, mine definitely has stretched to fit better though. It was tighter when I initially got it. Good purchase though going to buy another one soon
