Membrane Solutions 100 GPD RO Membrane and 1812 Housing Kit

Still testing low cost replacement Ro membrane been using Ro systems for over 40 years started before anybody knew what role was still using the same system one of Apex first customers we won't discuss what I paid for it

I needed an additional Ro housing and filter to increase my sap production. In normal Ro systems you want the pure water made by the Ro membrane. In a maple sap system your trying to remove as much water as possible before boiling so you reduce your overall boil time for each gallon of pure maple syrup. This housing is a great buy for the price. I fully intend to purchase two more in the near future to add to my system. Be sure to use teflon tape on the threads of the fittings or it will leak. Overall a great ro housing/membrane deal.

Purchased the 100gal/day along with the filter housing. Installation was just like any other RO membrane housing. Less than 5 months later, the TDS measurements post RO membrane kept climbing. My incoming water supply is ~195ppm, after it was ~5ppm when first installed and flushed. Prior to replacement the results were 70+ppm and increasing. I reached out to the company and explained, and they sent me a replacement. They are responsive, but will see how long this replacement lasts. Post installation/flushing my TDS is currently 10ppm, so higher than the previous membrane. Will update if the first had other issues or is indicative of the brand for my application. The filtered water is for drinking and probably use ~2gal max per day. The 100gal/day flow rate was used as with my booster pump set up I am getting a filtered water to waste ratio close to 1:1. I have sediment and a few carbon filters before the RO membrane.
