Extremely strong tape, excellent holding capabilities. Cost is rather high compared to length of tape about 20 yards and size of tape under 2 inches. However the amount of tape that you get understandable given the design and texture of tape. Adhesive used does leave some difficult residue to remove but if that's not a problem, this is the tape you want.

Better than painters tape. I used this tape to mark off granite countertop before cutting for a sink basin installation, and this tape protected the granite from the cuts - well worth it. Also was great for wrapping mini split line set insulation to prevent condensation leaking at the joints, but cannot be used outdoors because UV will destroy it after a couple years.

This 3M duct tape is solid for basic household fixes and light projects. Easy to use as it tears easily by hand, sticks well to most clean surfaces, and the black color blends in nicely for a clean look. I’ve used it for labeling and patching minor tears, and it’s held up fine indoors. That said, it’s more of a light-duty option. For outdoor use, I found the adhesive starts to lose grip after a couple of days, especially in damp or hot conditions. Overall, it’s a good, affordable tape for everyday tasks, but if you need heavy-duty strength, you might want to go with a stronger grade.

Not as sticky as regular duck tape

Strong and useful

3m duct tape is some of the better tape i have used to stuck stuff to other stuff. After going through a roll of packing tape, and a roll of electrical tape, i finally found what i needed with this 3m duct tape. It's stickier and stronger than others, and it was more suited to the task of permanently sticking my monitor shroud to my monitor than tho others.

Excellent Duct Tape !

Does what it should. It's strong and works well. However, it doesn't hold up outdoors. Peels right off in all types of weather. I need to purchase one for outdoors 👍
